Trying to Conceive - July 2006

been on the deppo injection for four years.my last injection was due 17 may 06,which was twelve weeks ago have'nt had a period but my breasts are swollen and soooo sore.i am trying to conceive but do you think that this symptom is just my body getting back to normal,am i just ovulating but no period??? any advice??

we have been trying for almost two years...i have gone to my OBGYN and he says that everything is fine nothing is wrong everything looks normal...i recently took fertility pills and all though i haven't gotten my period for july im not getting too excited...cause just like every other time i end up not being pregnant..anyways has anyone gone through this before....we have two other kids it took me a year to get pregnant with my son..and another year with my daughter we are almost going on two years now...its very hard to deal with right now since a lot of people are pregnant in my family at the time...anyways if you know of anything i could do to better my chances of getting pregnant i would love to hear about them....thanks all..

I read the question about sperm coming out. I thought we were doing something wrong. How can we get pregnant if the damn sperm just comes back out, is what I asked myself. I feel better now.

Hi I have been using birth control pills to regulate my o therwise absent cycle for 2 yrs now. However now i want to get pregnant. I know that by skipping a pill or two you can get pregnant but would that work for me??? Has anyone ever tried it ? If so PLEASE HELP !!!

I have pcos and we are trying to get pregnant but since my periods are so irregular it's hard to tell when i'm ovulating. My doctor suggested Glucaphage (sp) but i'm concerned about taking anything in fear of birth defects. Has anyone successfully used this medicine?

how soon can sign of pregnancy come about? my husband and i tried to get pregnant and i took a test soon after which came up positive. after i did a little research i've realized that maybe i tested a little early. but the test was still positive.

since then i have been feeling a little odd. my breast hurt, especially my nipples and i have had to go to the bathroom much more than usual.

Could I be pregnant?
When should i test again?

i was off birth control for 3 weeks had period then started new bc... i took it for 3 days then forgot for 3 more and had sex.. i was ovulating and now my nipples are so sore and when i squeeze white stuff is coming out.. is that a symptom? plus i'm tired and i've felt a little cramping about a week ago

okay the other day i skimming through the questions and i saw someone asked about like a pain in one of her sides every once a month and she asked if it was ovulation, and most of the people who answered said yes. and ive always had it ever since ive started my period, weird thing is ive always just put 2 and 2 together and i just thought it was another sign that i was about to get my period. cause it happens about 2 days before my period. and i know it was the same thing she was talking about. it kind of feels like a twitch in my side. so in other words i ovulate a couple of days before my period??

my last period was on june 23rd, had sex at peak ovulation time, my period is due next thursday, 28 day cycle...do you think it is to early to take a test, i am bloated and having slight cramps in, i never cramp when starting my period. these cramps , also having to pee quite a bit, not sure if is due to starting period or being pregnant?

My wife had a HCG Pregnancy Blood Test done and the result shown was 233.6 IU/L. The nurse told her she was pregnant. but when i asked the nurse, whats the benchmark for pregnancy, she didnt know how to answer me. so my question is, what is the range of values of the HCG for 1) non pregnancy, 2) pregnancy? whats the normal amount to tell us thats its a confirmed pregnancy?

every morning i wake up with a weird feeling in my stomach it kinda hurst and feels hungry but i eat and i feel nautious so it only goes away when i sit down and the smell of kitty litter makes me completly want to stop breathing it feels like i am being sufficated until i can get some fresh air also ciggaret smell and my dog. are these symptoms of being pregnant? i have been trying for 1.5 years and i took 2 tests and they were negative so im nt sure if i would be or not also a week ago i have 4 days of spotting very little then nothing not normal for me. what do you guys think?

So my husband and I are going to start trying to conceive. We would love to have a boy first but will take whatever God gives us with open arms and heart. I know that in the end it is the males sperm that decides the sex of the baby. However, I have heard that some positions could possibly help. I actually even talked to the doctor and they have found that the chinese calendar is one of the most accurat sources that determines what the sex will be depending on ur age and when you plan on conceiving. Anyone have any expierience at this... meaning had the same questions and possibly had something work for them?

I went to my Doctor today to have a pregnancy test since I am on prometrium and my period has not started yet :only a day late . Urine test was negative but the nurse said that there was no blood in my urine(which she preformed a seperate test to show) and wants me to get a bolod test for pregnancy why would that be ?do you get traces of blood in urine before you period starts?Thanks so much

I started my period this morning, however it is very light (completely not normal for me) and seems to already be stopping. I also have been sick to my stomach all week. I also now feel like I am getting a cold. My breasts were hurting until yesterday and now they are fine. I have been on birth control all month, however I did miss a pill during the week I was ovulating. I also stopped taking my birth control a week early. Could I be pregnant, or is this a cause of stopping the pill early? My husband and I just decided to start trying to conceive in the next couple of months. Which is why I basically threw the birth control out. I got excited and wanted to start ASAP lol.
