I started my period this morning, however it is very light (completely not normal for me) and seems to already be stopping. I also have been sick to my stomach all week. I also now feel like I am getting a cold. My breasts were hurting until yesterday and now they are fine. I have been on birth control all month, however I did miss a pill during the week I was ovulating. I also stopped taking my birth control a week early. Could I be pregnant, or is this a cause of stopping the pill early? My husband and I just decided to start trying to conceive in the next couple of months. Which is why I basically threw the birth control out. I got excited and wanted to start ASAP lol.

Probably withdrawls from the pill. I've been taking bc for awhile now and I've screwed up many many of times. One month I didn't take my pill for 5 days. Then my body instantly went into menstrual mode. My boobs hurt from the sudden change in hormones.
Good luck getting pregnant though. After I quit taking bc the first time it only took me about a month and a half to get pregnant with my daughter.

Go to the doctor's I know you don't want to hear it because I hate when I ask a question and they say check with your doctor, but in your case it can be either or.To me it sounds like you could be pregnant but then it also sounds like it's a possibility it can be the result of you doing away with the pill.

two reason,
maybe this is the effect of you not taking the pill anymore this is normal.
dont mean to let youre hopes down.
but this may cause it also.
and the second if you wanna make sure you really are why don't you try testing it or go to the doctor ,,,sometimes when a woman take contraceptives they get different effects on us.
but hey Goodluck ...
Hope youre pregnant!!!

Your symptoms sound right.
Don't just guess....it's so easy these days. Just go to the drug store and get one of those little home pregnancy kits. They even have them at some Dollar stores now! That's how my daughter found out about her first!
Good luck.

Perhaps you could try one of those home pregnancy tests first and see your doctor regardless.
