im not even dialted a finger tip. but i am 80% effaced. i am almost positive i havent had any contractions yet. i completely pain free, until i lay down. I get this horrible pain in my groin, like i pulled muscles on right on top of my crotch. it is a pretty much constant pain, i usually have to put a pillow between my legs to ease the pain. it isnt back where i would get period cramps either. its right between my legs. it takes me 5 minutes to turn to my other side. i cant really spread my legs appart, because it hurts, but then again i cant leave them together because that hurts too. it is such a horrible pain. it only happens when im laying down. and it goes away after i walk for like 30 seconds.

anyone else have problems like this. they feel nothing like period cramps.

Hello! I am 7 weeks preggers now. During my 6th week and the 1st half of my 7th week, I had morning sickness. For most of the time I was nauseas and couldn't eat much (it was even hard to keep down fluids). For about 3-4 days it was really bad throughout all day long. But over the last 3 days or so, I have gotten alot better. I feel almost normal again. Although my appetite hasn't fully returned, I can eat my normal 3 meals plus a few snacks (which I realize are very important now to keep nausea away). I feel almost all the way better now.... Should I be worried that I am not still sick? Part of me is thanking God that I feel normal again, but another part of me worries about me baby....

Did any of you have a short bout of morning sickness? Or did any of you experience something like this that returned?
Do you still think I have all the right hormones there?

I am only 1/2 way through my 1st trimester, so I guess it could return....

Hi!! Hubby and I have been ttc for 17 months and still have conceived yet. How long did you try before getting that BFP? If it took you longer than a year, did you get pregnant naturally or did you need medical intervention? We may see a specialist in the new year. We have been seeing my ob/gyn but are kind of on a break from all of the ttc stuff (charting, clomid, opk's, etc) for a few months. Just curious as to if it is ok to be taking this long. Thanks for the answers.

Ok so here's the deal last month I had many pregnancy symptoms such as always tired, bloated, sore nipples, moody, missed period, back aches, bumpy fuller breast etc and I spotted one day and then nothing and spotted again one other day. Then this month I got my "period" but it was late, shorter and, it was not as heavy. Also we have been having un-protected sex for a couple months now. I still have the same symptoms but I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. I have heard of women getting "periods" while being pregnant and also not showing up on hpt for months.. So what should I do? Am I just being too observant?

Hello again ladies and gents.

I was just informed by my OB that I have low amniotic fluid. I know what that means, but what I don't know is what do they do about it?

I am scheduled for another ultrasound on Tuesday of next week.

Please let me know of any experiences with this sort of thing. My first was totally normal in every way.

I'm looking into new forms of birth control and I have been reading about these. I have been on Depo for a while now so I want a change. I know they are basically the same thing but I want to hear what everyone on here thinks about them.
Please give me your opinions

For those of you who had your babies without the aid of an epidural...would you do it again? And did you have pain medication of any sort? I'm due anyday and really don't want an epidural as I've heard more bad things about them than good. So please don't encourage me to get one, I just want to know what other pain management techniques you had or used and if your birthing experience was still a pleasant one. Thanks :)

Did you find that the symptoms and overall experience of each pregnancy you had were different? Did you notice a difference right at the beginning, or later on?

Okay, we've been ttc and this morning I was really sick (throwing up) so I took a hpt (it's 4 days before my period, and it was early response) and after 1 minute I threw it away and went to class, but when I got home I pulled it out of the garbage because I was still nauseous and wanted to make sure there wasn't two lines....and there was!! I saw a faint positive.........I'm going to take another test as soon as I can force myself to pee, but do you think it could be positive? I threw it away after only a minute so it's possible that it didn't finish developing until a few minutes later and a positive will last 24 hours. But do you think that it was only positive because it had been so long and not because I'm really pregnant? Please help. I can't take the waiting! I'm very anxious and excited, but I'm afraid to be disappointed! Has anyone had this happen to them? If so, what happened? Were you really pregnant?

I'm looking into getting in to school to become a Radiation Therapist, and I was wondering what would happen when I decide to have more children.

Would I have to quit my job? Are they required to allow me leave? I don't understand what I'd do because administering the radiation could effect me child!

Also, if I got pregnant without knowing, would the previous daily exposure while working be enough to effect the egg and/or sperm (immediately... before fertilization), or the fetus?

I went to the doctor today b/c I suspect pregnancy. I keep getting negatives on urine tests, however I am having symptoms. So I went to my doctor and she first did a in office pee test. I asked her if that was more realiable than the over the counter tests she said yes b/c they test the potency of the urine b/f testing. She also said she had never heard of women not getting a positive and still being pregnant on a pee test (her in office tests). I have heard SO many women on here say do the blood test, you can get false negatives on a urine test....what about doctor urine test? I am SO confused. Even if I am NOT preggo, why did I have to basically demand anblood test and why did she say there urine test IS accurate and basically say "your not pregnant, but if you insist"? I am confused. Anyone not been able to register a positive on "doctor" preggo tests and had blood work come back pregnant? I think I might get a new doctor. Any feedback?
