Ok so here's the deal last month I had many pregnancy symptoms such as always tired, bloated, sore nipples, moody, missed period, back aches, bumpy fuller breast etc and I spotted one day and then nothing and spotted again one other day. Then this month I got my "period" but it was late, shorter and, it was not as heavy. Also we have been having un-protected sex for a couple months now. I still have the same symptoms but I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. I have heard of women getting "periods" while being pregnant and also not showing up on hpt for months.. So what should I do? Am I just being too observant?

Well I had the same thing happen to me. I just thought it was from the pill. But two months of periods & then I missed a period. So I then took @ home test and found out I was pregnant. I then went to the doc two weeks later and found out I was 12 weeks. I said how? I had My period for the last two months, Sometimes you can have a period and be pregnant. Although my periods were light I still thought I was in the safe zone. I just figured the pill made then light and short b/c it's sometimes a aside affect. Take A test when You miss your period again. Maybe your Hormone levels are not strong enough to show up on the @home test. If you take another @ home test try the one with the digital readout instead of the + - or one line or two those can be a bit tricky to read. Try the CLEAR BLUE EASY DIGITAL TEST! It will say not pregnant or pregnant instead of all those lines.

If the pregnancy test says "no" then you are not. If you are trying to have a baby then keep trying. Don't think it about it because you body can mimic the symptoms and not be pregnant. Just relax and enjoy...then it will happen when you are least expecting if.

If you aren't trying, then be cautious.

the only way you will be able to know for sure is if you ask your doctor to send you for a blood test
