i just hope i go back to normal after the baby is born and i dont have any morning sickness cuz now i am not intristed in sex at all just thinking bout it makes me sick

i'm 2 days shy of 40 weeks and today i believe i lost what i think was some of my mucus plug... how long typically after that do you go into labor? i know theres so way to be sure but whats is the general amount of time? and in that time do contractions just start or what.

I have not had a period in four months, I have swollen breasts, and took a dollar store test and it looked like it was two lines. Do you think that I am pregnant???



I am 25 years old, I have one son that is five, there was two lines on there. I have felt totally different this time than the last time, and have felt lot of movement on my left side of my stomach.
ON the test was a line on one side and like a smudge on the other side. Would this still be pregnant? Could stress cause you not to have a period for four months. I have been regular every month except the last four.

ok so i wrote a few days about my pregnant sister & her issue with her long distance boyfriend. well i guess things have gotten worse with them & they broke up. well i get a text today from her that says, "its sad to say that i think it would be best for me to get an abortion." i just cant understand this. i do know its not my problem or that i need to butt out. however i feel that if you r having unprotected sex & joking about the possiblity of getting pregnant, then you need to take responsibility for your actions. she's a little over two months and she was happy in the begining and planning to move in with him and she's asked her 4 year old son which he'd rather have, a brother or sister? shes even said that she did want to have another one before she turns 30. but its like now shes not with the guy, so whats the point to having this baby? &its not about being depressed. she wanted to end it with the guy. has anyone else been through these pregnancy feelings? i dont get it???

Last period started july 11. And the date of possible conception july 29. If i took a first response HPT tomorrow morning do you think it would be too early? I took one friday but it was - but I'm pretty sure it was too early then. I know its different for everyone but what do you think?? ahhh I just really want to know now!! (waiting is impossible, I swear!!)

i just took an equate test [from wal-mart, purple cap] and did the pee in a cup method. i was paranoid about not using enough urine since the instructions said "ATLEAST 10 seconds", so i went....15 seconds. haha and the horizontal line showed [plus/minus test] but it is wayyyy faint. not even close in comparison to the control line. in my 7 months of ttc, ive never had a 'faint negative'. i'm at 20-27 days past ovulation with a usual leutal phase of 14 days, so i'm 6-13 days late. i have 2 more tests but will save them and retest in a few days. did i just pee too much?

recently just after i pee i get some pains down in that area i am 38weeks pregnant(today)and i have had alot of cramp feelings(like a heavy period)and lower back ache also the feeling he is pushing down (best way 2 explain how it feels is like a smear/swab test) just really uncomfortable now i noticed its become a bit sore after i pee is this a problem or is it just because he is more head down?

can fish oil help trigger off labor i know its safe because it is the pregnancy care fish oil omega 3 i think its called but yea wil it help because i was looking around and asked the pharmasist about caster oil but thats is now off the market so i can not get it here in the uk any alernatives?
i do alot of walking and am not allowed 2 have sex or a hot bath any thing else that can help i am 38weeks

i need some advice.
my girlfriend and i had sex FOR THE FIRST TIME around the 12th of last month, and four more times on later dates in the month. (every time with protection) she usually starts around this time every month, sometimes later and some times sooner. we had some rough sex the last time which was around the 26th, afterwards she said she had bled a small amount on her panties. Then a couple days later she went out of town to help her friend move. that night she only got an hour of sleep and woke up tired and with back pain(but she has always had back pain through-out her life) for the past couple of days shes been tired and has had head and back pain(but i dont know if thats due to the lack of sleep or pregnancy) she woke up this morning with a sore throat, headache and tired body (flu symptoms) in a couple of days she will be 'offically' late so when we gets back from her trip we will test,she has been stressed about this and i am FREAKING out and need some advice...

Hi everyone once again. This forum is incredibly informative and full of wisdom.

I have another question, and I am sure it sounds rather trivial or may be not so?

How do pregnant women look like during pregnancy? It is a little bit unpleasant to think that I will look like an elephant. I weight around 128 and I am on my 4th week of pregnancy. Does it mean I will be like 160? But , please, I will have this huge face, and big arms? It is interesting, but I saw very pretty pregnant women.

What experiences you ladies had or have presently?

Right after sex,my stomach started to hurt and I got headaches,this was 4 days ago when I last had it,my frist time too. I'm sure when you're pregnant syptoms don't show that quick right? I have only till thursday to have this kid on my own. My Dr will induce me on Friday if I dont have the kid by then. I really DONT want to be induced. (been there done that and I know it is EVIL.) I know that I am somewhat dilated (over 1CM) I was wondering if anybody has sugestions on what I can do so I dont have to go thru getting induced!!!... I have been having contractions but nothing to get very excited about. I also have been cleaning like a mad woman and very very onedge for the past few days. I really feel sorry for my husband an toddler.


My question is If anyone has any ideas of what to try or what worked for you? I know that if the baby is not ready he will not come out but I would like to try to be proactive and not take the "easy" way out.

Also, I need to lose 25 lbs. by tomorrow - how can I do that? I have really bad acne; does anyone know a cure? I am 9 days late for my period. I have had brown spotting this whole time when I wipe but not enough to show on a panty liner. I'm 25 and usually have very regular periods. I took a pg test 2 days ago and it was negative. I have an appointment at 9 tomorrow morning for a blood test and to see what could be causing this spotting if I'm not pregnant.

Will a blood test show if I am definitely pregnant even if a urine test doesn't? and what could be causing my brown spotting?

I was wondering, how does the doctor check your HCG levels? Is it through a blood test or urine? I had to submit a urine and blood sample last week and I was curious to know what my levels were. (I can view my results online). Do they check the levels at every appointment? If anyone can tell me what to look for, I'd appreciate it!
