Pregnancy - August 2007

Two days ago, my boyfriend and I had sex, we used a condom but i'm not on birth control. He came inside of me, and we know for sure the condom didn't break. For the past little while i've been having some cramping. I'm not sure if i'm being paranoid or not, but i'm just really scared that i could be pregnant. But i've read that symptoms start showing after a couple of weeks, and it's only been two days for me. Am i just being paranoid?

So im just sitting here surfing the web and I start to feel like im maybe having an anxiety attack, im not sure, I feel kind of closed in and I feel like I cant breathe and I feel kinda anxious. I also think that I may be pregnant ( not worried, this is a good thing!! ) so is this from being pregnant ?? ive never had this happen before

Im 38 weeks pregnant today and Last night i think i may have been having contractions whether they were braxton hicks or not im not sure but at the same time im wondering if its just mild pregnancy pain...Ive gotten so many descriptions of what a contraction feels like but none seem to match completley what im feeling...HELP!!! P.S. my stomach felt slightly hard and my back was hurting a lot it felt like i had eaten a whole whole lot but hadn't eaten anything and there was a lot of pressure on my pelvis...Thanks all...

I have a friend who has a CRAZY girlfriend that uses him and cheats on him. This girl is claiming she is preggers with his baby. I think she is lying and trying to get money out of him. She sent him a picture message of an ultra sound that looked like it was done in the 3rd trimester and said it was HER ultra sound and the baby was 10 weeks old and it was a boy. But I thought it was too early to determine the sex at such an early point in the pregnancy.

I am 39 weeks and being induced next week. I am 2 cm's dilated but still kindof thick the Doc said. Is there any ways I can help ripen my cervix? I have been taking Evening Primrose Oil but obviously it hasn't done too much. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

i am 11 weeks pregnant and living with my husband, father in law n brother in law.thingy is, they eat malay and indian food most of the time.these foods r quite rich considering the gravy n fried stuff. they also do not eat a whole lot of vegetables so usually when i cook, i'll be the only one eating the vege. somehow or other no matter how little vege i cook, it will still go to waste.how can i ensure that i eat healthily n my diet actually helps my pregnancy. i am already making myself take folic acid,drinking formula for pregnant moms and drinking 2 big glasses of juice a day. sometimes i munch on pears. hope someone can help me.thanx in advance.

Hello, I was wondering when everyone here started to wear maternity clothes. I am 11w 5d and already can't button my jeans! I am a overweight so my jeans were already snug but never unfomfortable. Now, I can button them but it hurts my stomach so I leave them unbottoned. I was wondering if anyone else was around this early when they started to wear maternity clothes. I feel that I am not that far along to start wearing them already but if my jeans are already to snug and hurt to button... maybe I am. Thanks! :)

okay well, here is my story, my friend is really really scared at the moment, she had sex with sombody, but she was on the pill, and they didnt use a condom for 2mins, she wasent in the mood eather, so really shouldent the valvs be more closed? also he told me he had been pritty dry for a cupple of days, he didnt eqaculate anywhere becuase he didnt quite get there, they are both very very scared, she had been on the pill for 3 weeks, then she had to stop a week becuase of somthing happend in her period, then she had been on it for 2 days again, please help, my best friends are in trubble =( they really cant have a child at this age, just i told them not to worry, because it was 2mins, like a small chance, like how much? she was on the pill tho, and he was dry, so im not thinking of anything like pregnancy, but now im scared for them, i made this account for this question, please answer soon!!!!!! <3

last week i wnt to the doctor for morning sickness, took a pregnancy test, results negative, iknow it was too soon to tell. still havig symptoms, but i started bleeding last night. what are the chances that im pregnant, and can i take another test even though im bleeding? i ovulated at the right time, so im still not due for my period for a few days. i can't believe this is normal, but is it possible.

I had the most tramatic experience yesterday. I'm 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. I had felt some mild pain my lower left side and the doctor did an ultrasound just to check where the baby was. Well she couldn't find the baby, not even a sac. She got me an appointment at radiology 7 hours later (the longest 7 hours of my life) for a more detailed scan to see if they could locate the pregnany in my tubes. My HCG's were over 24,000 so we knew there was a baby with a beating heart somewhere. She had also told me she felt a mass on my left side, perhaps in my tube. She talked to me about surgery for an ectopic and what would happen and all that. Well last night after a 25 minute scan where the tech didn't say a word at first, just looked really serious, she finally looked at me and saw I was upset, and then turned the screen around and showed me my baby and it's beating heart in my uterus. I couldn't believe it. I shareb this to remind people that doctors are not always correct and to keep hope.

I have taken two CVS Early Pregnancy Tests. On both i recieved a very faint blue line. It showed basically immediately. I am 6 days before my expected period. However i know i ovulated early so i took the test earlier than recommended. Do you think there is any chance these are both evaporation lines? Or true positives? Any one recommended CVS tests? I am hoping for ++++++++++ It seems to good to be true!

Okay so I'm still a virgin, but my boyfriend did touch his penis (he reassured me that there weren't any bodily fluids on his hands) then he fingered me. I know that getting pregnant by this method is close to impossible, but still likely. I am 22 weeks pregnant and my doctor reccomended that I have an anomoly screen. I have had 4 babies and 3 previous c-sections and a history of placenta previa and I know they want to do another sono to check my placenta to see if it is over the scar tissue or starting to come through the scar tissue and I am a little scared. Has anyone else had one of these done? What is the difference between this and a regular sono? I know it is done in the form of a sono and I tried to google it to get a better idea and can't find anything on it. Also does anyone know the accuracy rate of this test? Thank-you in advance for all of your answers.

Baby teething at 10 weeks?
Hi there

i think my baby girl has started to teethe as she is blowing bubble and drooling, is restless at night and during the day, and has her fist constrantly in her mouth frantically 'nibbling' it. Is this a little early to teethe or is this quite normal. Any tips for me as a first time mum??
