I just found out that I am pregnant and i was just wondering if anyone has advice about how to keep weight gain at a minimum. I gained 40 lbs with first pregnancy. I was wondering how do i gain only 20-25lbs? Any advice appreciated.

like monday my hcg levels were 67, what range did it suppose to be in on Wed? Friday (today)?

if you know how to calculate it please show me.....

Example: 67+(67+67)= 201. I dont really know what I'm doing but i was just showing an example of how i would like for u to show me

when i was 12 almost 13 weeks, my ultrasound tech told me it was a baby boy. did any one else find out the sex this early and ended up being right? i was just wondering because i dont know when my next scan will be.

Hi All,

I just had my ultrasound at 18 week. I found out that I am having a girl. I have strong preference for boy though this is my first baby. When I found out its a girl I feel totally depressed. Since the time I found out I could not stop crying. I always pictured my family with a first boy. My husband is perfectly fine with a girl and he is trying his best to cheer me up but I have lost all the interest. Please help. I dont want to ruin the beauty of being mom but at this moment cant think about anything else and grieving all the time. Even I lost 4 pounds in 2 days. I am not able to connect myself with the baby though I am trying really hard. Cant sleep and eat... Please guide.

Ok... I am almost positive that my last period began on November 22, 2006 and I did have a normal menstrual cycle. According to that, my doctor gave me the due date of August 29, 2007. I've plugged this into pregnancy calculators and they all say that according to those dates, I probably conceived between Dec 6th and Dec 10th. I had an ultrasound early in my pregnancy which gave the due date of Sept 2, 2007 which would make a Dec 10th conception day more accurate I think. Anyway.... I was with one guy on Dec 14th, but we did not have intercourse. However, we were naked and the genitals did come in contact with eachother, but he never entered me and he never came - though there may have been precum, I am not sure. I did, however, have unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week (give or take a few days) before that, I am just unsure of which day exactly and he did go inside of me. My doctor said she is 99% sure that this baby is my boyfriends, but I just wish I could be sure.....

I'm STILL nowhere near it feels.....i'm 40+3 and getting more and more upset it's not over yet x

I had a membrane sweep a week and a half ago and the next day for the WHOLE lost pink tinged jelly, which i understand is normal.

I had another one the following week and now for two days i've been losing snot like mucus but it is NOT blood tinged....is this because i lost that the week before??? i'm seeing a m/w tomorrow but really wanted to ask before then.

I'm really in need of answers as i just want to go into labour and not be induced, please help.

My cycle has always been very regular, every 28days, with my 5 children, as soon as I was a day late I knew I was preggy. The last year or so my cycle has been every 23 to 26 days, I normally count on 28days from first day of last period an know Im due anytime in the week BEFORE that date. I had my tubes done 4yrs ago during an emergancy C section with my last child. My period was due on Tuesday 7th ( goin by the 28days ) today is Friday 10th an so far nothing!!!! Yesterday an today I have been rather light headed an today I have had alot of cramps,( been gettin cramps for last couple of days ) almost everytime Ive gone to the bathroom Ive expected to find its arrived, still nothing!!!!
The most confusing thing is the last time I even possibly could have got pregnant was bout 4 or 5 days before my last period!
Is pregnacy even possible?

My friend thinks she may be pregnant

She was meant to get her period on Monday (just gone)

What happened was:
She had her last period on 9th July 2007.

I always knew that you start taking the pill on the 1st day of your period, her doctor told her that she could take it 5 days into the period(??!)

She had intercouse on or around 19th July 2007.

She did not complete the pill

She is now 4 days late

What are the chances that she is pregnant.

She has been doing tests and they have all come up negative so far

I had the surgery in January and I wonder if I will be able to breast feed when we have a baby. The dr didnt fully remove nipple and said she kept everything in tact so I would hopefully be able to breast feed one day. Any feedback?

I have to work in the morning and the nabor wont bring in her two dogs and all they are doing is barking up a storm!!! I don't want to do it if its not safe but I cant fall asleep with all their barking. And it is too late to call my DR.

I called the poliece as it is too late for animal controle to be around, but they told me there is nothing they can do so that wont work. And the nabor wont answer their door.

I'm 14 weeks pregnant with my ex-boyfriend's baby. We broke up two days after he found out I was pregnant. He started to act incredibly harshly towards me and began making threats. He has completely changed since we were together. He used to tell me that if I got pregnant, he'd support me and we'd put it up for adoption or keep it (I'm 16 years old, please, it's too late for a lecture and I am very aware of how this decision will affect my life). So when he first found out that I was pregnant, he was considerate then suddenly he broke up with me and wouldn't talk to me for a while. Then all he would do was insult me. He became very verbally abusive and I knew that wasn't healthy for the baby. So I obliged, and told him that I would have an abortion. Once I agreed, he began acting like abortion was horrible. I went ahead and told him that I had an abortion. The trouble is, this whole situation has taken place texts and we will be going back school and he'll know I lied! What do I do?
