I'm not sure if I'm pregnant and I think its too early to find out. But I would like to know is it bad for you to exercise heavy even if you don't know if your pregnant? Should I stop exercising until I find out? Please someone let me know

It is really good for you to exercise when pregnant. You do need to talk it over with your doctor first though and he/she will let you know what types of exercise are best for you and what you should avoid. Walking is really good for you. I have taken aerobics classes before when the instructor was pregnant. If you are in good shape it will make the delivery easier on you. Just talk to your doctor and find out what is best for you.

Exercising is okay to do while you are pregnant, especially if it hasn't been confirmed yet. If you've been exercising in the past, you can continue to do so... you can run, job, walk, swim, etc. You may be able to find out if you are pregnant... I was able to find out 5 days before my missed period with a digital test from CVS. Said 'PREGNANT' clear as day, to make sure I went to Planned Parenthood and did another test, and that was positive as well... hard to believe I'm 32 weeks now! Good luck!

No it is good for you to exercise while pregnant. If you do find out you are pregnant then keep doing it because your body will benefit so much. You will be one of those girls that is skinny all over and just has a cute little bump and then you will lose all of the weight very quickly afterwords. Good luck!

Exercise is very important during pregnancy. I wouldn't run your energy down so much that it makes you sick, so taking it a little easier might be a good idea, until you know for sure. If you end up being pregnant, discuss an exercise plan with your doctor. He/she will know what's best for you according to your situation.

Good luck!

Not in the least bit bad and probably a bit helpful in keeping a woman from gaining too much weight during pregnancy and will make the weight easier to come off after. There's one woman at the gym I used to go to who would always go up until the last month (she's had at least 3 during the time I was going to that gym) and would start back as soon as her doctor allowed her. She wasn't just walking on the treadmill but doing step aerobics and kickboxing (not as intense as us non-pregnant women, but she was still doing it).

Exercise is normally suggested. Just don't do anything that is too over the top until you find out for sure.

You really should stop until you know. But while your pregnant, if you are, dont do anything hard core, (run, advanced pilates) what you can really do is some light yoga but you should do it with an instructer that knows your pregnant and has some experience in the field.

Never start anything new, but if it is something that you always do go for it. I exercised up until I gave birth to my daughter and had no problems. Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your baby.
