Concerned about or is it just stretching? This is my 2nd pregnancy and I never experienced a feeling like this with my first one.

It's not a sharp pain...just kinda dull and annoying and hurts most when I try to lay on either one of my sides.

I'm 6 and a half weeks and have the same pain. My doctor said it was normal but if it got really bad or if I started spotting to go to the ER. I didn't have this with my first pregnancy either.

Sounds like stretching to me. I had that with my first one, and my second 2 I had sharp pains down the middle of my abdomen. I wouldn't stress it, unless it gets really severe and/or you start bleeding. Good luck!!

I've never had pain in my ribs until late in pregnancy. I would call your dr just to be safe. You may have bruised a rib somehow.

i was just in the er last night for similar. i'm 9 weeks pregnant and was having cramping. they pretty much said its not too bad, unless you have heavy bright bleeding and excrutiating cramps. call you dr in case. i was spotting too and i went it. everything was fine. this is my 3rd and have never had this with the others. it could be that your body is trying to get re-adjusted. but if you absolutly cant stand it, GO. it may be just gas as well.

I had the same thing.

The docs really didn't explain it, but I can tell you that it went away after about a week for me.
