I'm STILL nowhere near it feels.....i'm 40+3 and getting more and more upset it's not over yet x
I had a membrane sweep a week and a half ago and the next day for the WHOLE lost pink tinged jelly, which i understand is normal.
I had another one the following week and now for two days i've been losing snot like mucus but it is NOT blood tinged....is this because i lost that the week before??? i'm seeing a m/w tomorrow but really wanted to ask before then.
I'm really in need of answers as i just want to go into labour and not be induced, please help.
x

You can easily induce labor by having your husband suckle on your nipples for a while, or even if he could make you orgasm. Both will cause the uterus to contract.

Im so surprised they let you go on for +3 weeks ... I went two weeks over and got induced (twice). I have no idea abotu the mucus plug, cos I ended up induced and then (after 36 hours of labour then STILL no baby) having a c-section, but Im sure its all normal ... everyones different, just tell the mw what youve seen ... she'll know. By the way, good luck!! :)
Eat a big really hot curry to help get things going, or I hear sex is a good one too, if your in the mood ...

I'm surprised you're overdue by so much. I'm surprised the doc let you get this far. Once you lose you're mucas plug that's it, so that's probably why you have no more pink. And being induced isn't so bad, I was. But if you go anymore and they don't induce you they might have to do a c-section. So make sure you talk to your doctor about this. And there's way to induce yourself, walking, sex where he let's go in you, there's something in sperm that they say induces labor. If you search it online you'll find more ways. But honestly being induced isn't bad at all, they put something in your iv and that's it. Good luck.

When I lost my mucous plug it was white and had no blood in it at all. I lost most of it at one time, but continued to lose strings and sometimes chunks for about a week and a half. So you are probably just losing the rest of your plug. And don't worry, I've never seen a woman carrying around a one year old that's still in their belly, so you can't stay pregnant forever ;)

i'm on bb#2 in my third trimester, i've lost my mucus plug already and for both my daughter and this one the mucus plug was clear and very "snot" like. i didn't have a bloody show, there was no color either time. for my last pregnancy i lost my mucus plug and went into labor 3 days later... this time it's different, it's been 2 weeks since i lost the plug.

Its just more mucus and its ok not to be pinkish. RELAX!! it will happen. A friend went into labour today and was booked in for an induction on sunday. Lucky girl!!
Have you tried sex yet??? It works so get moving!!!
Walk heaps, rest heaps and just wait lovey. Can't rush it, it will happen when it wants, induction or not!
