Well, i have only gained 9 pounds and im 36 weeks. (im overweight before pregnancy) so this is healthy for my case)
I lost 5 pounds for the first 3 months, then last week i gained 6 pounds and yesterday at my dr. appt i lost another 3 giving me a total gain from 281 pre pregnancy to 290 as of yesterday.
I eat alot healthier then i did before pregnancy, no junk food alot of fruits n veggies, but since i was overweight before baby and the good eating habbits after i found out i was pregnant has made me loose weight and my dr. said is perfectly ok and normal..

I guess it partly depends on how you're feeling. I know there is no way I would have gained 50lbs if I hadn't been so sick in the first three months. I HAD to eat every two hours, and even then there were lots of things I was uable to eat, so I didn't eat very well. Make sure that you stay active and that you eat healthy...40lbs isn't that bad, just stay away from junk food and go for lots of walks. Yoga is also wonderful while pregnant! Good luck!

Unfortunately, there is no miracle solution. Eat when you are hungry, but eat healthy food like fruits and vegetables. Cut out the sugar and extra fat. Walk for 30-45 minutes a day (taking a break every 10 minutes if necessary). This is the safest and best way to prevent excess weight gain, but it isn't always the most fun.

I gained approximately 35 with each of mine. They have been 6 lb, 6 lb 5 oz., and six lb 13 oz.. i do no longer think of the burden earnings has a super magnitude. My sister gained 25 lbs and her toddler became into 8 lb. the only time it concerns is that if a) you earnings too lots and toddler is risky b) you earnings too little and toddler is risky purely attempt to consume healthful and workout and earnings a average volume at a continually sluggish %., and your toddler will weigh despite it somewhat is suppoed to weigh.

Try keeping your eating habits the same and limit yourself to those must have cravings........Walk on a regular basis, (EXERCISE) even plays a big part on the labor part of preg. Drink plenty of water and take your prenatal vitamins! All should go well with weight and pregnancy! Best of luck!

Well, you can try drinking only skim milk (not 2%) and eating lots of cottage cheese for the protein. Avoid fried foods and sweets. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meats. Also eat whole grain breads.
