I am currently expecting my third child, and my instincts have been right each time. Our first was a daughter, our second was a son, and now we are expecting another daughter (ultrasound said girl-I guess it could be wrong).

My husband had a dream that the baby was a boy BEFORE I knew I was pregnant, so when my first pregnancy test turned up negative, he knew I just didn't have a detectable amount of the pregnancy hormone. I was actually angry w/him for seemingly getting my hopes up, but he turned out to be right. So, when we got an ultrasound done at 12 weeks, I wasn't a bit surprised that the technician said she was leaning towards a boy. Since then, however, I've been having dreams that the baby is a girl...who talks in complete sentences and laughs the day she's born. Now my husband is the one second-guessing things, when I'm convinced I'm just having crazy pregnancy dreams. :)
Ask again next week- I get the official anatomy scan then!

Yes, Mommy Intuition is usually right. With my current (and first) pregnancy, I just knew in my gut that I was going to have a little boy. I later had dreams about the baby and giving birth, and it was always a boy.
Originally, my fiance and I weren't going to find out the gender at the UltraSound. We wanted it to be a surprise, even though we both were getting baby boy vibes. Alas, due to family pressure, we did find out for sure. The UltraSound clearly showed that we were having a boy.
So.... Mommy Intuition may not always be right, but, from my experience and from what other's have told me, it usually is.

I just knew we were having a girl and nothing could change my mind. I "felt" it. When we went to the 18 week ultrasound I was shocked to find out it's a boy. I was happy we were having a boy, but I just thought it was a girl. So much for women's intuition.

I wanted a girl so bad I was totally convinced that was what I was having until I had my 21 week ultra sound and found out I was having a boy (He will be 3 tomorrow). Last year when I was pregnant I thought I was having another boy but at 19 weeks the baby kept their legs clamped shut. I ended up giving birth to a baby girl at 21 weeks the day after our son's birthday. I guess I just kept getting it wrong. We hope to try for another one soon.

I knew I was having a boy, even though I wished for a girl. Ultrasound has confirmed twice (2nd one today), it's a boy! And I couldn't be happier!

With my first I knew it was a girl. I started calling her by name right away.
This time (10 weeks 5 days with #2) and I am feeling boy, but I think its because I already have a girl.
My husband knows its a girl "because he was meant to suffer a house full of women"
