Symptoms like nausea can occur within hours of becoming pregnant in some women. Pregnancy effects every woman differently and the signs can occur at different times for each woman as well. There is no set rule for that because each woman is different and things effect them all differently. Some women do not even know they are pregnant because they don't have any symptoms and also still have regular periods while others can show signs immediately. In the beginning, about the only sign is nausea and that is followed by the need to go potty more frequently and be tired more often. Some women experience tenderness in the breasts immediately and others never get that, like my daughter. The tummy starts showing at different times in every woman too because it depends on your height, weight, and how big the baby(ies) will be as well as how much water surrounds your fetus. Some women, like myself, have more than 1 bag of water around the placenta. No one knows why that is and it has nothing to do with heridity. For some reason, every pregnancy I had, contained 3 bags of water. That can make you grow in the tummy faster. Sometimes getting a pregnancy 'pee' stick from the pharmacy section in your store can show signs of pregnancy as early as 1.5 weeks along but remember that they aren't always 100% positive. You can be pregnant and they won't show a thing or you can have some of them read you wrong and say you are pregnant and you are not. That happened to my daughter. If it does test positive, then you need to go get a doctor's test to prove it for sure and they usually don't like to do those before you miss your 1st cycle for sure and missing the 2nd is better because sometimes the early one on ones won't show up yet. It all depends on each woman. I found out I was pregnant when I was just past my first missed period for my last daughter, by the doctor's test. Every woman is different than other women and also every woman's pregnancy is different than her other ones. If you have missed a cycle and feel nauseated and hare sexually active without taking any birth control (which also has no guarantee with it) then you could be pregnant. The only way to know is to get tested. If this is your first sexual activity situation and you aren't married, then you can experience all the same symptoms of pregnancy in a 'mock pregnancy' situation and they can all be due to nerves or being worried about the fact that you could be pregnant. That happens to women too and being worried and nervous about it can actually cause you to skip cycles as well. I'm sorry that there is really no good way for you to know, but there are too many variables for this since women are so unique and complex. Best just to go test.

Its very possible for the "classic" symptoms of pregnancy to occur within the first two weeks of conception. Symptoms include , missed period, nausea , vomiting ("morning sickness") tender breasts, change in mood , ect. Symptoms vary by women . The best thing to do is get a pregnancy test. Do a HPT(home pregnancy test) first ( EPT , First response, ect) Or go to your GYN doctor and they'll do one . A beta HCG ( blood pregnancy test) is most accurate in detecting early pregnancy , however in some women urine is just as accurate . Good Luck !

The symptoms of pregnancy vary from person to person. When i was pregnant, my boobs were really sore, i was slightly nauseas, and i was exhausted. I don't think that you would have these symptoms within 3 weeks of having sex though. You just need to wait and see. If you take a pregnancy test, you should wait until you've actually missed your period, don't take the early tests, they're not very accurate. Good luck!
