No, not at all. I was the oldest child, then 3 brothers, 2 sisters and another brother. My husband has an older sister, then him, then 2 more sisters. Our first was a boy, and we have boy, girl, boy, girl, and we don't know what this one will be. So you can't go on that. I DO know that it depends on the father's sperm. The females egg's are all the same chromosome and the man determines what you are having. It's all a 50/50 chance, sorry!

Technically each pregnancy has a 50/50 chance of being a boy or a girl. While people theorize and basically guess that genetics helps determine what the gender will be i don't think you can really guess that way. I have a sister, my dh has 1 sister and 2 brothers, we had 2 baby girls - how does that all fit in? People just like to think they can predict that's all.

Not really because my partner has a sis and a brother and i have a brother and we had a girl. I dont know why but I think that the both peoples parents have something to do with it. I think that because My mum had a boy and a girl and partners mum had 2 boys and a girl that we will have a boy and a girl rather than 2 girls. Whereas my friend has girls and her mum had girls, my other friends parents had boys and she has boys. But really its just chance and there isn't a way to predict, except the chinese birth calendar is very accurate, all you need is the womans age at the month of conception. I have known it to be wrong only once.

No. It is a 50 50 chance that it will be boy or a girl. There is another way to guess your babys sex. Look on the the day you conceeived and the last day you had sex. If you had sex a few days before you ovulated it will be a girl (becuase female sperm are stronger and stay alive longer but the male sperm are faster but don't stay alive long). If you had a sex on the day of ovulation then it will be a boy. Just a fun old wives tale. Good luck and congradulations on your addition to your family. Baby Dust to you. :D

It's not true-50/50 chance unless you have timed conception to improve the odds of one or the other.
My sister's mother-in-law swore up and down that no boys would be born in their family. True enough, my sister had 2 boys, her husband's brother had 2 boys and her husbands other brother had 2 boys...and a GIRL.

No, not true. It is a conception-timing thing, and there's a theory out there that links the sperm with the acidity of the cycle, it's really far out there, but seems plausible. The sibling thing is false and has been proven false by millions of families around the world.
Hope this helps!

Absolutely not. You may have a girl, but you have the same 50/50 chance with each pregnancy, regardless of what you had before.

uhh no. no after getting pregnant a woman can usually tell you what she's going to have based on feelings. i knew when i was pregnant with my son that i was having a boy. i couldn't tell you how i knew i just did. My boyfriend for this last one was having dreams that i was going to have a boy. i lost it but it was a boy and he has 10 daughters and no boys.
