last monday on my appointment my dr said I had low amniotic and I couldnt see my baby that clear because of that, and she told me to drink more water, thats it, but Im like freaking out, is it dangerous or something??

my girlfriend is due in 2.5 weeks. her ultrasound the other day showed the baby was 5 pounds and had a small waist. what does that mean, small waist?

7/20-7/25th Period. 7/27 Condom broke took Plan B 2 hours after. 8/2 Light spotting. (Side effect of Plan B) That lasted for about four days. 8/10 Took hpt. Negative. That night, I got my period..I think..it was lighter than usual but lasted for 4 days, very heavy at times, filled up tampons. 8/14 Day period ended, took hpt. Negative. I wasn't due for my period till 8/17, but plan B made it come early....I think..unless that wasn't my period. I took another test on 8/17. Negative. Took another test 8/21 and 8/22. Both negative. I know I sound paranoid, but I've heard that tests can be wrong, and that you can have your period when your pregnant. I don't really feel any symptoms, except I have a whitish discharge, normal if I'm ovulating right now, I have a very regular schedule. That blood I had for 4 days was my period right? And these tests are accurate, especially after 4 weeks after conception? I know your not doctors, but I just need advice. Birth control will be MINE a.s.a.p. = ]

On my last months period, I had unprotected relations with my bf on the third day of my period. He did finish in me. It was kind of an accident, but I didn't worry because I was on the period. Then my friend said I could still get pregnant.

So I worried all month, until my period came right on schedule ( i am more or less regular) . It was a normal heavyish flow and all that, had cramps and moodyness, but then it ended abruptly on day 4 (sometime yesterday) !! I usually last 6 days or more. Do periods oten tend to cease like that? usually mine tapers off and then ends. Will it pick up again? Is it too soon to tell?

I am so worried now and I am about to take a HPT test tomorrow morning. But I need some avdvice or somsething because I am sooo nervous. Could I be preggers or am I just being over the top ner vous and scared. I cant be a mom. I can hardly afford to feed myself.

i am 15 weeks pregnant just come out of hospital after suffering dehydration and migraines was on a drip. i am now getting cramps in my left side it feels like someone is leaning on it its more on my pubic area than my stomach its only this side and sometimes by my belly button. Any one had this and can shine some light on the situation DONT TELL ME TO GO TO THE DOCTORS I'M NOT STUPID I AM JUST ASKING SOME ADVICE

I started my pregnancy at 115 lbs. I'm 5'4" and petite. My weight gain has been right on target...between 3-4 pounds a month. I just came back from doctor's office and I gained 11 pounds during the past 4 weeks...11 pounds!!! My scale at home and the scale at the doctor's office match sometimes and sometimes they don't. For example, during my last visit, I weighed 129 at home but I weighed 125 at the doctor's office. But this morning, I weighed 136 at home and 136 at the doctor's office. Anyways...my clothes are not any tigher and it only looks like i'm carrying weight on my belly and boobs. I'm so depressed about the 11 pounds. I'm 26 weeks by the way. Has this ever happened to anyone? I need some encouraging words...Thanks!!!

This is my second pregnancy and I had suffered from same probem last year during my first baby. I was induced at 36 weeks of pregnancy but my baby could not survive. She has asphyxia ( though docs say it has nothing to do with BP). I am realy scared now. I had some parties at home, maybe I over-exerted and hence have a high BP? Can it get back to normal once it has elevalted? Most important - Can a low salt diet reduce my BP? I am really worried, pls suggest any remedies. I work from home so dont go to office. I am 29 years of age. Want to be really really cautious this time. Anyone facing same problem? Will this harm my baby? Pls help

My father called and told me on my way to work this morning! YAY! The baby was due around labor day (Sept. 3rd) and it is Aug. 23rd....what complications might the baby have by being early? Also, she had to receive (2) epidurals..what could be the reasons why the first one didn't take? Thanks!

Has anyone gained 20 or less lbs during pregnancy and had over a 6lbs baby? How is this possible when you consider the weight of the placenta, amniotic fluid, etc. If this has happened to anyone did you actually weight less after delivery than you did before you got pregnant. The only way I thought that this was possible is if you lost weight and then gained an additional 20 lbs. Can someone explain...or give details on your experience. Thx!

Ok so Im a compleate Idiot! I know, I know its all my own fault but Ive missed my period {well last month it finished today 23rd} and today im doing a pregnancy test but my heart is racing and terrified I know it was my own fault. Also my mum got me the mini pill to control my periods and Im suppose to start them the day I start my period and I think she will catch on! Im only 17!

If my mum finds out she will kill me and its not the case of she will be upset but she will get over it becasue she wont.

Im so scared and I think the idea of abortion is so scary {free in uk} I dont know what to do please give me some advice.

I suffered from depression before I got pregant, but stopped my meds the minute I found out. I did okay up until now, but I can feel it creeping back at times and have to fight really hard against it.

I'm 36 weeks (as of yesterday) and I'm starting to worry that I'll have bad post-partum depression. I don't want to go back on my meds after the baby's born because I want to breastfeed and the meds they gave my sister for post-partum dried up her milk.

If I have depression now, will post-partum hit me really bad and how do I handle it without taking medication?

my last period started on aug 4th. I had unprotected sex with my fiance this past weekendn (aug 19th). only 4 days ago. Today woke up with slightly sore nipples that got worse throughout the day, and now are pretty painful. is it possible?? obviously cant take a test yet because its too early. just wondering if anyone could help. thanks =)
