Pregnancy - August 2007

ok, for the last few days as I am walking, or sometimes just standing... i get this pain on my left upper thigh (at the inner joint...) and if feels very similar to a charley horse in the calf. so... its not very nice. It only happens on the left side...

What could this be? I am 3 days over 40 weeks. could it be the baby doin something funky down there??? who has experienced this at the very end of the pregnancy??

Hello everyone. My fiance and I just received a car (a camero) from his mom for free in great condition and it's good on gas. We plan on getting another car in the future but for now we have to make due with what we have since we're a new young couple trying to make it on our own. We're having a baby due next year and my question is does anyone know of any carseats that will go well in this type of car? Like the brand and where I can get if from. It's kind of a low rider. Please help if you can. All answers are very appreciated. Thank you!

I really love my boyfriend and for the most part he treats me like a queen but during the last month or so half the time I can't even stand him to be in the same room. I'm 12 weeks pregnant. While I'm at work all I want to do is get the day over so I can be with him, but once I'm with him, every little thing about him drives me nuts. I feel like I'm going crazy. I love him so much but feel like I'm pushing him away. Half the time I don't even know why I'm doing it. Anyone else having this problem?

I have sex with this guy about 2 or 3 days ago on Thurs. and then we had sex again on Sat, we had unprotected sex, but he pulled out everytime . I wanted to know what ur in put is and when I should get a pregnancy test. I saw him today in school and he didnt even look at me. This **** is crazy. So pre- *** I think went inside me. Please help what do I do and if I am pregnant this is baby number 2. I started my period last sunday and when I finshed having sex with him on Friday my period went away, and now its nothing.

The ultrasound tech just said I am 8 weeks pregnant.
Does that mean that I have just finished 7 weeks, and am in my 8th week of pregnancy, or does it mean I have completed 8 weeks?

I am realllly confused, because my last period was 6/29, I normally have 31 day cycles, and my luteal phase is usually only 10 days max.

From charting, and ov tests, I ovulated most likely on cd18. I only had intercourse during the 4 days before I ovulated. I got a pos hpt at 11dpo.

According to my ovulation date, I should be only about 7 weeks pregnant. My baby is measuring 1/2 inch, which is 8 weeks. Is it possible that the baby grew FASTER, because I didn't ovulate 7 days earlier, nor did I have sex that far back.

Can the gender of a baby make a difference in growth at that early stage? I just don't get it.

Can you understand my question? Sorry for the confusion.

And, yes, I know that it probably doesn't matter, but I am just wondering.

I know you have to have a catheder when you have an epidural but what if you are not having one do they stil give you an epidural same thing with the enima???

I feel like I want to die! I've tried everything under the sun and nothing seems to work. I've tried crackers, pretzels, peanut butter, popcicles, milk, sprite, 7up, fruit, pepto bismol, 25mg promethazine from my doctor, any kind of food, and nothing seems to work. HELP!!! I don't know what else I can do, so I'm asking you for help. Any advice please. Just make it stop.

I am pregnant for someone that I have known of for a long time but I didn't know them personnally. We started liming and one thing lead to another and I am pregnant. We didn't have a relationship and now it is posing a real problems. I don't know if to leave him alone or if I should try and make him understand that we need to provide a family for this baby. I have found over the last few days that when i sleep, my legs kinda get achy after a while. It feels like lactic acid pain (like the pain you get if you hold your arms in the air for a long time).

Its not agonising, its bearable but its obviously a little uncomfortable. I have to keep turning sides more regularly than usual.

Has anyone else found this?

i had my period 2 weeks ago then last week when i went to the bathroom for 2 days i noticed very light pink spotting i have been reading and spotting can be part of pregnacy the only thing is my boyfriend had a vascetomy but i do know there is a very small chance i can get pregnant but i am very very fertile

I am almost 15 weeks pregnant and have had a very unhappy time for the last 2 weeks. Life has been very stressful and upsetting. This has resulted in a lot of tears. Do you think this upsets my baby too? My husband is very supportive but these are my family problems that he is unable to assist with. We tried for this baby so hard (18 months ttc) and I want it so much and don't want to cause upset. Just if anyone has any experience with a really unhappy pregnancy was everything ok in the end?

Before I start explaining, I am well aware that the best way to tell is by going to the dr and taking a test.
On Aug 3rd me and my fiance' had sex and he did go inside of me. I am on the nuva ring and had to take it out becuase my cycle was soon to start. This past Monday on Aug 20th I fainted at work. On Tuesday It almost happened again. They sent me home from work and told me to go to the Dr and I couldn't go back until I had a letter that cleared me from the Dr. When I was at the Dr he did a urine test and it came out negative. I think it may have been to early to tell. On Friday morning I puked, but that was the only day,so when I added it all up I think maybe it was too early for my hCG levels to show up. For the last week I've had a slight headach- small aggrevating one. I also been having a bowel movement multiple times a day, and in the last 2 weeks I lost 7 lbs.

I read many sites about signs and symptoms but I know sometime people dont follow the norm

I've found that I'm too unorganised to keep track of taking the pill so I'm thinking I should resort to having an implant fitted in my arm. The whole process of it being fitted seems a bit frightening but I wouldn't mind some extra info on it. Does it give you bad acne aswell?
Another question is; what are other people's experiences with the implant?

and I am already feeling 'fat'. I dont have a bump but a pair of jeans I put on this morning were definitely on the too tight side!!! I feel larger round the middle, and have started to lose my waist. Isn't it a bit early to be showing???
