I was like you when i was 9 weeks.
I thought i was going crazy as i thought that i shouldn't have been feeling like that, that early.
And it didn't help that people just kept saying to me it was in my head.
But i ignored them and i was in maternity jeans at 12 weeks, i just couldn't get away with mine anymore! My midwife said i done the right thing.
Just keep thinking to yourself that every pregnancy is different, and things happen at different times to different people.
Only you know how your pregnancy feels!
(oh and also i started showing at 11weeks)
Good luck with your pregnancy! Love Danni x

No it's not too early and your not technically "showing" either. You will start to lose your shape long before you have what other people will recognise is a baby bump. I look like I have put on so much weight at 16 weeks. Some days I just look a bit fat other days I look pregnant but according to the scales I haven't actually put on any weight. Everyone is different though, you may start showing really early or may make it to 7 months then suddenly pop
Congratulations and good luck

Unfortunately that isn't your baby that is showing at 9 weeks. You will feel your waist thicken and clothes getting tighter but that is due to bowel distention and a general bloated feeling (as i am sure you have experienced). I am 5"10 and weighed 120 lbs before i got pregnant and didn't start showing an actual bump until 15 weeks pregnant, then it just popped! Until then, to anyone that doesn't know yet, it will look like you just ate too much. Don't worry about it, it is very normal.
Good luck and congrats!

You may not be showing yet, but your body is certainly preparing for the baby.
You'll develop more fluid in your body which can make some of your clothes a bit tighter (this happened to me!)
The good news is, once baby starts to really grow, (which should happen over the next 5-6 weeks or so) fluid build-up can slow down a little where baby takes more in the way of nourishment, vitamins, etc.

If you are small framed you may show earlier than most. You are pregnant, embrace it. Your body will change SO much, but in the end it is worth it. As long as you eat healthy and stay active, then losing the "belly" after the birth will be easier. Just enjoy the changes (as best you can) and remember-when you start to feel "disgusted" with your body, that their is a precious life in there that is growing healthy and strong.

All depends on how small you are. Also, have you possibly gained some weight? I think it may be a little early but everyone is different and each pregnancy is different. I showed earlier with my second pregnancy. I'm sure your excited, but I wouldn't step into maternity clothes too early. By the end you will be sick of them.

It's just bowel distention at this stage. : ) All of your inside are becoming quite lax with all of the pregnancy hormones surging through your body as it prepares for the growth of your uterus. Pregnancy is the most amazing thing, as are womens bodies. Your uterus is still hidden within your pelvis, and shouldn't be able to be palpated until around week twelve when, if you lay on your back, and gently push in around your bikini line, and then down towards your pelvis, you should be able to feel the rounded top of your growing uterus.

I experienced a growing bump at 11 weeks on my first pregnancy with my daughter- not much later than you are! I am 15 weeks pregnant with my second baby so feel free to talk to me about it.. anyway I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck xx

Definately too early unless you are having 8 babies!
You are probably just bloated and all your 'insides' are shifting around and moving up to allow for your womb to accomodate a baby.
You really shouldn't have to change pants till at least 12-15wks at the very earliest.
Or you go your dates wrong and are further along than you thought.....
Good luck and congrats

Some people do show more than others like Myleen Klass. She really 'showed' during pregnancy but when her daughter was born she was only 5lbs or something! Don't worry, think more about giving birth to a healthy baby not your weight lol and congratulations! :-D
