I feel like I want to die! I've tried everything under the sun and nothing seems to work. I've tried crackers, pretzels, peanut butter, popcicles, milk, sprite, 7up, fruit, pepto bismol, 25mg promethazine from my doctor, any kind of food, and nothing seems to work. HELP!!! I don't know what else I can do, so I'm asking you for help. Any advice please. Just make it stop.

Sleep is the best for you. Try drinking some Sprite...I would stay away from pepto bismol if I were you - unless your doctor told you it's ok.

Unfortunately there is nothing that will help you. THis is just your body trying to accept new changes, your body will lose and the baby will prevail. Just remember that a sick mommy means a healthy child.

Sweetie, wish there were a cure for this but there isn't really. Take care...and congratulations...I would love to be in your position. But I'm too old to have children.

Girl, I threw up every day at least three times a day starting the moment my pregnancy test came up positive and ending right before I delivered my daughter.
I couldn't keep down anything, not even water or crackers. I also had the promethazine but as SOON as I would take it, it would come right back up. Pepto Bismol very rarely worked (yes, it is fine to take, per my ob-gyn). All I can tell you is stick it out, keep down what you can, drink as much as possible. It's rough, but it WILL come to an end, even though it feels like it won't. Good luck, and I am so sorry. I tell everyone, labor wasn't anything.. being pregnant is the worst.

Welcome to the club. My morning sickness hit at about 6 weeks, completely out of the blue, and it has been hell since. At 15-1/2 weeks, I am still suffering, although it's not as bad as it was before. None of the non-medical stuff worked for me. My doctor finally gave me Zofran, which helps, but I need to take it before I become ill. It takes half an hour or so to work, so if I'm already throwing up, there's no point...the pills are expensive, and I hate wasting them by taking them too late and then bringing them back up. Anyway, one thing that did help slightly was separating liquids and solids. Not only does that mean don't eat and drink at the same time, but also don't eat foods that have a high volume of liquid in them (i.e. soup). This can overload your stomach and cause you to vomit before you've even finished what you're eating. This part of it is better for me now, but in the beginning it was impossible, so eating a dry diet helped a bit. However, when you're as sick as I have been, nothing helps 100%. It sucks, and I totally know what you're going through. Hope you feel better soon.

Do not have milk if you are experiencing morning sickness. It will curdle in your stomach and make it worse. I had severe morning sickness up until I was 7 months pregnant, so I know what you are going through. I received medication from my doctor, and it eased it a bit however did not take it way. Flat Ginger Ale before I even got out of bed helped me, and beleive it or not those sport drinks like gatorade was helpful. Sometimes nothing will work, hang in there it is all worth it in the end. Funny though you get used to the throwing up.

The Sea Band acupressure wristbands! I tried everything for weeks and almost ended up in the hospital! 5 minutes after putting on these wristbands I felt better! I wore them 24/7 until I was 13 weeks. They left bruises I wore them so long, but it was worth it! I still felt a little nausea, but that I could handle alot better than the throwing up constantly. I promise this will help! You can get them at any drugstore in the motion sickness area. Good Luck!!

I was always told crackers was the best way to go.
Yet it never, ever helped me (3 pregnancies). Mine was probably worse than yours, because I could only get out of bed to use the bathroom, and I dropped 15 pounds in 2 weeks.

I've also heard that there is some kind of a pill that your doctor can give you to help you out with the nausea.

Don't worry, it will get better! Just hang in there!

The HCG is initially done to test two things: 1) gives a ball park to when you conceived and 2) making sure the pregnancy is developing in a normal pattern by the numbers doubling. Once it gets to a certain level (about six-seven weeks) it can be somewhat inaccurate in dating pregnancies due to the hormone rising a bit slower than in the earlier stages. An u/s will give a more definite answer on how far along. They thought I was further along than I was due to my initial HCG readings. Good luck and congrats!!
