Is it possible to smoke a pack a day during your pregnancy and still have a healthy baby, other than maybe being small in weight??

I have been noticing alot lately that many people give remarks like, "how should I know" or "why are you asking us" or even "I'm so tired of answering these questions". It's even gotten to the point where people have to ask for comments & answers free of sarcasim. Why is that? I mean if people have better stuff to do with they're time, then why are they on a question & answer site? And I know I will probably get a few of those idiots answereing this question- but that further proves the point. & yes I meant to be on the pregnancy page, alot of women want sound advice or a listening ear, and if you don't have that to give then quit taking up space on this site!!!

Instead of giving them fake baby dolls, give them the pregnancy suits and make them wear them for a week - try to find cute clothes that fit, try to find a prom dress, try to meet guys, try to get a date, try to get a job.

I took a clear blue digital test and it is not even time for my menstrual to happen yet, but the test said that i was pregnant? Was the test correct?

Okay I am 16 yrs. old and I am 21 weeks pregnant. I was raped in January by a guy whose name I do not know, nor did I know him so how can I possibly turn him in when I don't even know where he is..who he is..or what he looks like? I have always been too afraid to tell my parents so even they don't know that I was raped or that I am pregnant from it. I want to tell them, but I know that they will me very mad and hurt me. I haven't gone to the hospital since I was raped either, because again I am SCARED to death to know whats really going on. I am out of school already and in college but I don't have enough money to go to the doctor over something probably not needing medical care anyways. Does anyone have any advice on what to do or how to tell my parents? I want the easiest way out!

I had my tubes tied about 6 and a 1\2 months ago after I had my third baby, now I'm having early pregnancy symptoms. Haven't missed a period yet, but I knew with my other 3 before I missed a period.

there were wet spots on my underware, after holding some tp under me, it got fairly moist in a few seconds. if my water bag has a small leak will it be very noticable? is it safe to use an ob tampon for a little while? if not how can i know for sure. (i sweat a lot, im big and prego)

i am now at around 12 DPO (days past ovulation) and im going to wait til sunday or monday to see if i get my period..and if i dont i will test..

for those women who are pregnant or have been pregnant.. when did you get nausea? i know its different for every women.. but heres what mine is like..

-the first week past ovulation.. while eating.. i had a few really strong hits of nausea.. i was eating.. and felt all normal.. and then all of a sudden i got a HIT of nausea.. which only lasted a few seconds.. n then i felt normal.. this happened to me durin the first week .. and only happend about 3 different times..

now.. 12 DPO.. the nausea is different.. i feel as if i have light nausea all the time.. and in the mornings i feel extremely hungry.. (even though i eat at set times everyday) until i dont eat.. i feel lightly nauseaos.. and when i am eating it kinda gets worse..

pregnant ladies.. is this how u felt? what else can it be if im not pregnant?

Im 33 weeks and one day today. I came into the hospital at 27 weeks to find that my cervix was at 18! they admitted me that day and im getting out when i hit 34 weeks(next week) my cervix was at 18 then 16 then 12 then 21 then 12 again(now its 12) i have another sono. monday and theyll let me go on thursday. anyway im still gonna be on bedrest because of my cervix but i wanna plan somethin for my boyfriend. can you have sex with a short cervix, im gonna ask the dr thursday but just wondering?!

My mom says that a few days before going into labor she would always suddenly have lots of energy - but then she would use all her energy up cleaning and nesting, so when the actual labor came she was back to feeling fatigued like before.

So, assuming I'm like my mother, and get that burst of energy, what should I do with it? Is there a way to put it to good use without using it up?

I'm at 32 weeks now, so hopefully this won't actually happen for a little while yet.

well im 21 weeks pregnant, and I work as a receptionist. My boss smokes in his office, and Im about 20 ft away and I can smell it. I usually open the front door and light a candle, it helps but I can still smell it and it bugs the sh*t outa me!! thing is, that a smoking ban was passed and u cant even smoke in a bar where i live, so I know its illegal and its a big fine if he gets caught. I cant exactly tell him to quit smoking because hes my boss. But then people I work with always bug me about having the door open because its 90 out and the air is on...well I cant stand the smoke !!

what should I do?!

I know if you have a natural birth the baby's head is cone shaped do to coming out of the birth canal, but my question is how long does it stay that way and when does it start to look like a normal, round baby head?

My fiance and I are getting married this October. We have been together for 3 years now and we're talked a LOT about having a big family. We both come from Christian families with different opinions on lots of things..including sex before marriage. As 2 adults (21 & 29) we know that overall what decesions we make is our own and nobodys else. We were messing around the other night and I got to thinking what if we were to get pregnant before October? We're not trying, & we're not having unprotected sex..but what if? I'm 3 months with no period. Just now, I got my uterus scanned by ultrasound saing i'm not pregnant. Am i going to stop there and close the "am i pregnant?" case in my mind, and start thinking that "i'm not pregnant!"?. Or does a blood test more accurate than an ultrasound? I don't want to be pregnant.

I was supposed to start my period on june 16, 2007 and i never did i took a pregnancy test after 2 days missed period and today Friday, June 22, 2007 i havent started my period still and i took the other test and it came out positive also so any advice?
