I have been noticing alot lately that many people give remarks like, "how should I know" or "why are you asking us" or even "I'm so tired of answering these questions". It's even gotten to the point where people have to ask for comments & answers free of sarcasim. Why is that? I mean if people have better stuff to do with they're time, then why are they on a question & answer site? And I know I will probably get a few of those idiots answereing this question- but that further proves the point. & yes I meant to be on the pregnancy page, alot of women want sound advice or a listening ear, and if you don't have that to give then quit taking up space on this site!!!

Seriously, if you're tired of answering a question, then just don't answer it at all.

I try to be kind... I really do. But every once in a while I will read a question that will push a button in me.

Personally I think the people who ask questions like "I hate my son what do I do" and "Is it ok to go to sleep while my two year old roams freely around the house" Deserve a good strong NO and then and explaination. Possibly for the even worse questions like the one I read yesterday "Can I give my wife an at home abortion with a coat hanger" deserve a nasty word or two, and then should be reported.

I dont mind the girls who ask if they are pregnant, but there is only one answer.. take a test and see a doctor.

I dont mind the people asking what they need for thier babies. It is easy to over look things, and all mother's know what "pregnancy brain" is like. And that goes for the more panicky pregnant women to, who have a sudden burst of anxiety, and think they arent ready. They are just asking for reassurance.

I am with you though. I will tell young girls not to have sex because they will get pregnant, and to enjoy thier child hood, but it isnt called for to whip out the dirty names, for every for girl who comes on here with a problem.

I totally agree with you!!! People should be sympathetic to the women on here, who are seeking advice and peace of mind from other women who are going through or have gone through the same experiences. But I also think sometimes you get some people who ask questions that you cant really give advice on. Like the OBVIOUS.... "I'm 10 weeks pregnant, I'm bleeding heavily and I'm having cramps. What should I do?!?!".... With a question like that you can only answer...., "HELLO!!! GO TO THE E.R. ASAP!!!!!", or expect someone to give a sarcastic remark!!!

But I think alot of people should remember that there are younger people on here. They are adolescents and they are going through some of these issues. Some of them genuinely dont know what to do. So with that being said, I think that no matter what the question is, they should be answered appropriately or not answered at all!!!

Just a thought!!!

Yes, but then there's the people asking questions. I've received a few nasty responses back from questioners recently. Apparently, some only want answers that are what they want to hear rather than advice that perhaps questions their goal. Why ask the question?

I try to be reasonable to everybody, but I'm not going to waste my time telling someone something that isn't advice I wouldn't want to hear myself. You have the option to follow it or not. We don't have all your details, so just go with what you state.

I agree completely. It may seem silly to others that some people who are ttc ask the same questions over and over. But, you feel like your situation is unique. If you don't want to answer don't, but don't be sarcastic and hurtful. Some people just want help.

Maybe these people should find better things to do with their time than be mean, why bother?! Now that's the waste.

I agree with you - but you know, not only is there an issue with attitudes, but with the questions being asked. "How many staples will it take to put my babys head back on?" Give me a break - jesus... why are they even on here??? It's just some people don't need to be on this site - they're here to play, not ask questions and give sound advice...

Thanks for brining up this issue!

They had a bad day (and should not be answering your question). They are mean people (and should not be answering your question). They really don't know (and should not be answering your question). They think YOU shouldn't ask a question THEY don't want to answer (and should not be answering your question). They are really tired of answering questions (and should not be answering your question). Or, maybe they are just too stupid to know they can leave the website and stop answering questions.

I agree, some people are sick, and just plain asssholes, just ignore, pay attention to the real people and ditch the silly ones, some people are just weird and dont have a life, they get off on being negative and mean to people.

i think its more so the obvious questions. like when someone asks im a week late am i pregnant; in all honestly, how can anyone else know given ONLY those facts? and its a matter of that question is half the front page. thats really the only one i get sick of seeing/answering, and i dont see too many rude comments to other questions unless its something like what is sex? what is abortion? honestly stupid stuff like that; im sorry if i offend, but those really are stupid questions, that are not an opinion, it would be easier and faster to google it.
