The nausea I felt in my first few weeks varied from extreme nausea & actual puking to just being really lethargic with a bit of a queasy feeling and horrible heartburn. It started with the violent nausea as soon as I suspected the pregnancy and progressed to the lighter stuff as I went along.
I did get pretty hungry in the mornings too like you say you are, and as for getting worse when you do eat, it could be the kind of food you're eating. I felt worse whenever I ate something that was maybe a little too fatty or rich, or greasy or spicy. So for the first trimester I pretty much ate nothing but bland foods like crackers, rice cereal, and fruits and vegetables because I couldn't stomach anything else.
I hope you are happy with the results of your test!

well for me, (mother of 3), I got morning sickness usually around the 1st trimester, approx. after the 4th week or so. It varies an I think the sex of the baby has something to do with it although I could be wrong. It feels like regular nausea and you feel you have to throw up even though you may not have any contents in your stomach. Even water will come back up. They say eat a couple of saltines to calm your stomach but that NEVER worked for me. Some women never experience it and some only have it for a week or so but some also have it for a whole trimester. (3) months. Try to stay stress free and it you will get through it. Good luck and Congradulations!!!

For me the nausea felt like I was car or motion sick all the time. Usually the result is that you throw up and feel better but that wasn't the case. I would get sick and continue to feel badly.

I wore the motion sickness bracelets and drank ginger tea. It helped. This is kind of gross but it helped - drink ginger ale rather quickly and burp. It releases some of the air in your belly and you'll get some relief. The guys in my office thought it was so funny that they always brought me in ginger ale so they could listen to me burp! Ginger tea was nice and soothing too.

Keep your stomach full, little small meals are best. Once your stomach is empty it will make the nausea worse.

Good luck!

This sounds like it could be an early pregnancy symptom.....if you are pregnant....wait til the real morning sickness kicks in!!! (and it's not just mornings either) any bad smell around will make you puke....so avoid stinky people and fish markets! Carry a bottle of water with you everywhere you go and a tissue with some purfume sprayed on it....to sniff when some sweaty man with B.O is standing next to you on the underground!

Sometimes, I would get this vile taste in my mouth, it was like the strongest tasting mushroom. This would build and build until I just had to be sick.

Other times a wave of nausea would hit me and it was a case of getting to the bathroom double quick. Sights and smells set me off too.

I was fine in the morning and was OK during the day as long as I kept nibbeling. However in the evening, nothing kept it at bay.

The sickness started at 6 weeks.

I was nausiated about 5 days before my period was due, and I also waited til I missed my period before getting a test. I was sick all day off and on, not just in the morning. Then it progressed to all day and all night. I was told by my doctor not to take the prenatal vitamins til month 4 since they make sick people sicker, and that helped. At least I wasn't hugging the toilet at 2 am begging my husband to help me. It sounds like you are pregnant to me. You don't get nausiated for nothing. Oh and I didn't throw up til after I found out I was pregnant, I was just so nausiated and sleepy and cranky.

It's really odd, but before I got pregnant I used to be really paranoid that I was going to GET pregnant. So everytime I was late I started freaking out and checking for signs. Then the time I DID end up pregnant, it's like the idea didn't even cross my mind and I was already a month late. One day I happened to think "my boobs are sore" and people started saying "I bet you are pregnant!" and I was thinking I wasn't.. but then I started noticing more signs! However I didn't start feeling nauseous until AFTER I took the pregnancy test and it came out positive. Then I was sick every morning until the 2nd trimester. I found that it was best to just go ahead and get up in the morning, puke, and then brush my teeth. The longer I tried to hold it in, the sicker it made me feel. So if you feel like you need to vomit, go ahead and do it. It'll actually make you feel better! And eventually, you start getting used to it.

Like you're stomach is wedged up in the middle of your throat & it's fulla puke. Try ginger tea -- it works wonders!

You could have a stomach virus. Untreated, it gets worse.
