Pregnancy - March 2007

hey, i just have a few quck questions...
i noticed today before i got into the shower that i had some really bright PURPLE veins on my boobs... They have never been like this? Doe this happen when you are pregnant?
Another real quick thing... latley when ive been blow drying my hair or anything that involves lifting my arms over my head i get real out of breath and my heart starts to beat fast.. im not overweight... im 5'2-5'3 and weigh 130ish. It just feels like im losing my strength in my arms.... any advice on either of these questions??

I am 13 week spregnant and I'm not noticabley pregnant to others, but to people who know me, they say that they can tell. Anyways... I cant button & cant barely zip ANY of my pants anymore, and I bought a pair of maternity shorts size small, but they are too big. So I'm kinda stuck in the middle for a bit. Are there any tricks that you all used? And clothes that are great for that? I dont want to go crazy shopping for clothes that only will fit for a month and then I'll have to "upgrade" again...

I've already have two beautiful sons but really really need an advice on how to make a baby girl. My family will be complete with a baby girl. I'm getting old and it looks like this might be my last chance so I need to be very prepare.

I'm 38 wks today, yesterday I woke up, went to the bathroom, came out & my water broke all over the floor. It soaked my pajama pants, was running down my legs, I couldn't stop it & it stopped a few times and then would keep coming, even when I walked in the other room. I even put on a pad.
I called the Dr. who told me to come right up, I have 2 kids and my husband is in Iraq so it took awhile to get someone here to get the kids. By the time I got to the hospital the leaking had stopped (3 hrs later) but I was in pain and contracting, & the Dr. did a nitrozine test on the outside of my vg and said it was neg. He sent me home saying I had peed myself (I KNOW I didn't, this is gross but I smelled my pj pants and they smelled sweet, not like urine), since then I feel crampy and some contrax, but nothing major.

Has anyone had anything similar happen?? When did you go into labor after your water had leaked? I'm dilated to 2cm 50% effaced, 0 station. Please any input!

I went in yesterday for a 3D ultrasound of our little boy (by choice .. it was just something we did for the fun of it .. and to get a DVD of him and a confirmation he's a boy :)
and the sonogrammer said he weighs 1 lb. 7 oz. and is in the 46th percentile .. is that good? I've never been sure how the perscentile thing works!
*what is the average weight of a 24 and a half week baby (still in the womb)?

If I'm 8 weeks pregnant is it safe to lay on my stomach? And why do people say to lay on your left side? Would it hurt the baby if i layed on my right side?

I sleep in whatever position i can get comfortable in at the stage but when can I not lay on my stomach or should I not be doing this at all?

Sorry if I sound stupid its my first pregnancy and I get terrified of losing my baby or doing something that can effect its well being

My glucose screen came back a little high and my blood count is low. She is requesting a 3 hour glucose test and iron supplements.

Is this common? Could something be wrong or is this some what standard? Any advise? Info? Thanks!

pain on my hip like around my butt on my right side it hurt allot for a while then the pain went away. Then in the night start again have any pregnant woman felt this way before this is my first pregnancy so i really don't now much how you feel but i need advice. I am about 7 - 7 1/2 weeks along. This past Sunday, monday and Tuesday I FINALLY got "morning sickness". I was worried because prior to that I had no symptoms at all. So, on Wenesday, I felt a little sick - but not bad at all. Thursday i felt even better and now today I feel totally fine. Is it normal for morning/day/evening sicknesss to be so inconsistant? Has this happened to anyone else out there? I miscarried my first pregnancy about 6 months ago and am really worried I may again. I have had no cramping or anything, but last time, my body didnt start flushing everything out until a month after the actual miscarriage happened. Thanks!

I'm about ready to pop and I still havent experience the "nesting" stage. I'm sure I'll have this baby any day now, but my step mom insists I'll know when I start to nest. Problem is, I don't feel like nesting at all... just laying around and being lazy. Does this mean I'm not as close to delivery as I think I am?

When you first felt the baby move, can it feel like the baby is swiping their foot along you?? It's hard to explain. It didn't feel like a flutter, it felt more like the baby was taking her/his foot and swping it. It was a real quick movement and I felt it only a few times. It happened when I was laying down. Thanks for any input.

So...yesterday I felt like crap, had diarrehea all day, and was having BH contractions and cramping. Now today...even after juice and breakfast baby has not moved today!!!

I checked his heartbeat on my babybeat monitor, and it is there, but he has not moved. Not sure what to do!!!

They weighed my baby yesterday (24 weeks pregnant).
and said he was in the 46th percentile.
is that ok???
