for the past few days ive been having back pains, alot of cramp in the tops of my legs period type pains and stiffness in my legs and back could this be early signs of labour???

it could be labour or braxtonhicks does any change of activity stop the pain if not call your dr or the e.r. it may be early labor but at 37 weeks tour baby should be fine thats not really premature. use your instincts if you feel you need examined go do it if its been going on for 3 days you may be ready to deliver. best of luck

when i was having pains in my lower abdomen back and legs i was told it was stretching pains. not something i wanted to hear but the doctor and nurses all told me that.

i would say so. i think you should tell your doctor about this. i had both my sons at 37 weeks and nothing was wrong with them so don't worry if it is labor. its ok to have a baby that soon. good luck. and congrats.
