I'm too young to think about seriously having a baby right now, but I have wondered if I would ever want to have kids.

I've heard all the horror stories of tearing, and premanent damage to your body (saggy skin, stretch marks), weight gain - that a lot of people seem to have trouble getting rid of even if they were thin before. If all this happened to me I can't see myself ever being happy with my appearance again.

So, is it possible to get back to normal even after several pregnancies? Maybe with the aid of cosmetic surgery? yes, I guess I'm that shallow :(

Wide enough to ruin its elasticity for ever, indeed. Also, the entire perneum (between kitty and a-hole) can be torn open and requires cauterization, over weeks and weeks (even more painful than giving birth per se). Add to this the fact you sometimes throw up and defecate for hours, while giving birth....do you really want to ger pregnant?

I am 9 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I havent been stressed or overworked. I don't smoke, don't do drugs or have not touched alcohol in months...In other words i'm trying to do everything right, yet 3 days ago i was taken to hospital from work with heavy bleeding thinking i had lost my baby. I was bleeding from the cervix but an ultrasound showed the baby alive and well much to my relief!!! The doctors said they don't know what caused it nor do they know how to prevent it from happening again!! Any advice???

I am now 13 weeks pregnant but at 6 weeks my babys heartbeat was seen on ultrasound at ONLY 126 bpm, isnt that relatively slow? I still dont know how fast it is yet but it just seems like at 6 weeks that was very very slow,u/s woman told me it was normal..was this the same for you? and should it of risen by a lot since then? and does 126 at 6 weeks indicate a bouncing baby boy?

For those of you that know the sex of your baby, did you find the Chinese Calendar accurate? It's been accurate with my two pregnancys.

Yes, it's only a 50/50 chance, but I'm still curious!

I'm getting contractions but they are not dilating me, so I heard I can try using a birthing ball to motivate his head to get in the right spot and make me dilate. Anyone ever heard of this? Currently I'm trying sitting on it, swaying back and fourth, and lightly bouncing... Is there a special way I should sit? Anyone with experience in using a birthing ball to progress labor or a midwife/doulas input would be very much appreciated. Thanks

So does it hurt and is this true?

Hello ladies, I haven't been on here in a couple of days. But I'm back = ]] Right now I am 11 weeks pregnant. My next appointment is on February 15th. I'll be 12 and a half weeks by then. I know she'll use the doppler again. I'm excited to hear my precious little baby's heartbeat. Everytime I think about it I cry with joy. BUT I heard it sometimes takes time to hear the heart beat. Just wondering, when did you ladies hear a heart beat, on a doppler??? ( Weeks ) = ]] Thank you.
