ultrasound, blood test or waiting til birth.. all the little myths about if it is a boy or girl is not always acccurate. Alot of signs pointed to me having a girl and I am having a boy. An experience as an EMT I know the heart rate doesn't determine the sex as people think. So say if it is in the 150 it is a girl haha thats why I am having a boy.

First off Old Wives Tales are only a 50/50 chance. The only way to get an accurate result is an Ultrasound. Even they aren't 100% but are pretty close. You can also get a 3 or 4-D ultra sound done, those are your best bet, but they are also a little on the expensive side.

Wel,theres always the old wives tales, many women swear against these but they worked for me,my sister in law and my friends'. If u are carrying low its a boy,u can tell when u are carrying low, your belly will look lower and u will have lots of dicomfort down there...If ur belly is shaped like a basketball *meaning very outward and poky *not wide* then its a boy..And the one i swear by if the babys heartrate is under 150 its a boy, usually 145 and below....Otheriwse just wait to get your ultrasound..good luck!

I have a boy and a girl, and I just had a gut feeling with each of them. However, with my son, the ultrasound just confirmed it... he was not shy about showing off his little "pee pee."

There is also some truth to the theory that when you are carrying higher, it's a girl and lower for a boy. At least, that was my own experience.

If I were you, I would schedule an ultrasound.

People may say this is a old wise tale but with all four of my children I could tell by the heartrate! The wise tale is that if the heartrate is low ,it's a boy which in all three cases of my 3 sons this wise tale was true! As for my daughter her heart rate was high. So there you go. Goodluck!

i wanted to know the same thing. From things I've been craving to other things during this pregnancy, I think I'm having a boy....but you never know without a ultrasound...and even than, it's only 85% accurate

well there is a theory..if you are carrying high its a girl..if you are carrying low its a boy...but the only way to tell is when the doctor looks at the ultrasound and can determine the sex from there.
