I am now 13 weeks pregnant but at 6 weeks my babys heartbeat was seen on ultrasound at ONLY 126 bpm, isnt that relatively slow? I still dont know how fast it is yet but it just seems like at 6 weeks that was very very slow,u/s woman told me it was normal..was this the same for you? and should it of risen by a lot since then? and does 126 at 6 weeks indicate a bouncing baby boy?

I had an ultrasound at the beginning of my 6th week and my baby's heart rate was only 100 bpm. The doctor was only slightly worried about it, saying that when the heart just starts beating it can take a couple days or a week to get up to the 'normal' rate. I went back a little over a week later and it was at 181bpm! Normal range is anywhere from 120-180, but once it has been beating strongly, it tends to decrease as the pregnancy progresses. I am 23 weeks now and my baby boy's heart rate is always right around 150 bpms.

The heart rate will actually become slower, usually, as the baby grows larger. As far as I know, 126 is okay. If the sonagrapher wasn't concerned and your doctor says everything is okay, you should be fine.

Heart rates don't necessarily indicate gender. My son's heart rate was in the 170's at his first ultrasound.

My baby's heartbeat always varied between 125 and 160+, I believe it was around 130 at that point. And she was all girl when she came out, so the heartbeat wasn't that accurate. Good luck!

If your baby wasnt active then it is normal It still could be normal if it was active but more normal if it wasnt.

it's normal, baby's heartbeats are slower because they are not fully developed yet.
