congrats...... the best thing for babys development is alot of healthy foods, like fruit and veg. chicken and salads are great and very filling. Your girlfriend should be taking folic acid up until her 12th week of pregnancy and ensure that she attends her all check ups. The names you have chosen are nice and good luck for the new baby in oct.

Congratulations - and what a great question. Your partner doesn't need artificial vitamins - just a healthy diet. Folic acid is recommended though to prevent spina bifida. Plenty pasta, rice, lean meat, fruit and veg will give her all the nutrients she needs. Pregnant women shouldn't eat soft, unpasteurised cheese (risk of listeria) or more than 1 or 2 helpings of tuna, salmon or sushi per week (high mercury content). I like your choice of names - I hate all these made-up names that are popular just now.

Congratulations, love Tobias, not sure about April for a baby due in October?
Good fresh food, oily fish, nuts, just a really healthy diet, not junk, though the odd treat is also good as it reduces stress!

WOW congrats to you, Daddy!! Here is a really great website for you and Mommy to look at and you'll be able to find out some good healty meals. Also, make sure she's taking prenatal vitamins. You can pick those up at just about anyplace like Walmart.

Breast feeding is the cheapest and best for developement. The names are great but don't be concerned what other people think of the name. Just don't name the child Apple or Toe Nail.

Make sure your girlfriend or wife keeps taking prenatal vitamins. Also combine it with "Ensure for moms" liquid vitamin drink daily for pregnant and lactating women. The Ensure is to supplement what her prenantal vitamins do not have.
Ensure is available in grocery stores in the vitamin sections.

For meals, here is what she should eat----->http://scc.uchicago.edu/nutritionpregant.htm
