I would say to run out and get an EPT! My hubby had one too and i thought i was pretty safe...would be interested in hearing the results!
We took that route since a friend of mine who had her tubes tied 8 yrs previously was also giving birth at the same time and through the research we did, I thought the vasectomy was the safest route!
According to some sites, failure is possible though so go get a test!
"Does vasectomy ever fail?
Yes, rarely. There is a very small chance (less than 1%) that a man's partner will become pregnant after he has had a vasectomy. A vasectomy can fail if the tubes were not completely sealed off during surgery. Sometimes, the cut ends of the vasa join together by themselves, or an opening develops that lets sperm pass through. A pregnancy may also happen if a couple do not use some other kind of family planning until a test of the semen shows that the man is sterile."

Yes, vasectomy's is really not that much more effective than other methods of contraception. About 1 in 1000 chance of getting pregnant.

There's a very slim chance that there was a problem with the vasectomy. Have your husband check with his doctor and you'll know soon enough if you are pregnant. I bet you're just fine, though. Try not to worry too much. Take a pregnancy test.

There's always an outside chance that the vasectomy came undone (for lack of better words). Before you get all freaked out, have your husband see his doctor, that way you'd know for sure if you are pregnant. Hopefully you just have a bug that's hanging on...If you don't want to worry hubby, get a home pregnancy test...good luck either way. :)

A vasectomy is not a guarantee.. unfortunately they can come untied just in women with tubals. I worked at a Urology clinic and have seen it happen.. He can go and take a simple sperm count test and see if he is still considered sterile. I would take a blood test and see if you are pregnant. I am sorry if I am scaring you.. just seen the "impossible" happen a few times. Good luck.

Yes some people with vasectomy did get their other pregnant.
I would take a pregnancy, just to rule it out.
If you still feel sick, go to the doctor, a blood test can tell a lot
Good luck

I knew a minister who fathered a child 11 years after his vasectomy, and yes, there was a distinct family resemblance. That was a bit of a surprise for the whole family!

Seems highly unlikely after 8 years. Pari menopause can start as early as your 30's and cause fluctuations in your cycle. So can stress and diet changes. As far as being sick you may have a low grade infection somewhere, or a minor stomach flu. Call your doctor for a check up to rule out these factors..

it could be that you ate something bad or there are some cases where the tubes that the doctor cuts for a vasectomy joined together again...so maybe your husband should go to the doctor.
