it just means that you are gaining weight at a really rapid growth. The baby might have just hit a growth spurt. It is really hard to predict how many stretch marks you get or how severe they will be. It could just be that your skin does not have very much elastic give in it. buy some cocoa butter lotion. rub it on your stomach 2 times a day. this should help to slow down the growth of stretch marks.

My advice is to just keep using the cream, is it the Palmers Cocoa butter for stretchmarks? That's the kind I used, loved that stuff. I did not get very many and they also didn't get very dark like other ones I've seen. Also just make sure your eating healthy foods for both you and baby and not lots of excess junk. Then you should gain a healthy amount of weight. Congrats and good luck.

Nothing will keep a woman from getting stretch marks from pregnancy. Its genetic and all depends on the amount of elastin in your skin. If your grandmother got stretch marks, and your mother got them, chances are good that you'll get them too. Save your money and don't waste them on creams and all those infomercial products because they really don't work.

If you're small in the abdomen and your skin is growing fast, you will get stretch marks before others who are bigger than you and have a larger abdomen. Be consistent with applying the cream and you should be alright.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

im 26 weeks..and im having a BIG baby..im in the 91% tile...and soo far i dont have ne stretchmarks! thats b/c i apply Palmer's coco butter for stretch marks on my tummy..hips..thighs..and boobs..ne where i think im proned to have them..3 times aday..and b4 i was pregnant i was really small framed....it all depends on your skin...and how moist u keep it! also i recomend..apply the cream in a circular motion to get blood flow to the areas..and in the showers use a lufa and when u wash ur belly and other areas scrub in a circular motion..b/c blood flow helps to reduce stretchmarks..good luck hope this works for u! as it does for me!

not everyone gets many stretchmarks from being bregnant. some people get them all over. i got some on my inner thighs, my hips, and i have one little one under my belly button! it just depends on the person. my doctor told me there is absolutely nothing that can prevent them. the creams did absolutely nothing for me except make my skin moisturized! i hope this helps..

how cares about stretch marks, u should be more worried about driving ur husband crazy with ur pregnant mood swings, just sit around for the next 9 months and dont do much. get a hobbie, like listening to loud annoying things, becuase you will have one soon

nothing, it probably means that you may have been overweight to start with. Creams do not prevent stretch marks or make them go away, keep them as a reminder that you are a remarkable woman and a mother.
