Pregnancy - January 2007

I know I'm an adult and everything and I have had a steady boyfriend whom they have loved for a while now, but we just got pregnant and i am dying to tell my parents the news. I just feel like they will look down on me since I am not married. I don't know what to do. They think its socially unacceptable to be pregnant and not married. Plus my sister just got married and they always expected her to have kids first. I just hate to see them disappointed or angry at me, especially right now. I need them there for me so bad. I can't write them a note either. I don't wanna chicken out that way. Do you think it's a good idea to invite my mom over to our place and then tell her and have her be the one to tell my dad? He's an angry irishman and my mom is one of those women who would probably either cry or just look disappointed at me. Anyone out there ever go through the same thing?

I'm 21 weeks, and it was a 2-D ultrasound. The lady was very sure of herself, though, and I've never had a problem with the clinic I go to (I've been going there my whole life).

I know that there's always a chance of inaccuracy, but the tech said that the baby "was giving a clear view of HER parts".

How accurate is this? Is it safe for me to start decorating the nursery?

My period was due on January 12th (so I'm three days late). Last period started December 8th. Cycles last around 33 to 35 days, but I'm not completely regular. Did not have unprotected sex since November 29, but had close genital contact (no penetration) on December 18th. Nothing since then. I don't think I ovulated until New Year's Eve Weekend. I went to the doctor's office on January 11th and had a pregnancy test that was negative. I've taken lots and lots of tests (I'm paranoid) including one today and they've all been negative. However I've been experiencing slight cramps, slightly sore breasts, lightheadedness, dizziness. I'm just afraid my doctor is wrong and my symptoms are from being pregnant. I know they could also be PMS. I do get slight cramps and sore breasts before my period comes, but obviously it hasn't come yet. Am I just going crazy? Could I be pregnant despite what my doctor and the fifteen tests I've taken say? What else could my symptoms be from? Help

I'm about five weeks pregnant and I'm really concerned about using a laptop. Sometimes I keep it on my knees and sometimes on a pillow over my tummy. I do not know if it's safe for my baby. I have read a lot about monitors, but I cannot find anything about laptop as a whole device.

I am 37 weeks and I started having REALLY bad backache, I can't sleep, I can't sit, I can't do anything. I tried recomended excersice, but no succes. I had a tylenol this morning and it helped me for couple hours, but I am not sure whether or not can I have another one before I go to bed tonight?

How much more calories does you body need when your pregnant, by BMB is around 2100 calories a day. I am 2 months pregnant and have been eating more, because I more hungry. i took a pregnancy test and it confirm i was pregnant ...but today i went to the bathromm and my period came down the only wierd thing was it wasnt the normal color it was a very light red blood and im not bleeding heavily...i was supposed to go to my doctor but they are closed today im goin tomorrow ..i took 2 pregnancy test and both were postive now im gettin my period wats goin on???

My wife is about 1 month pregnant and we found out about 2 weeks ago that she was but ever since then she has been very bitchy and thinks she controls my life and everything I do. There is a possibility that I could be pregnant. If I were, I would only be about 3 weeks to 1 month pregnant. But all of a sudden my breasts have gotten really sore. I don't know if this is a common symptom of early pregnancy. I have not skipped a period yet, so maybe I'm going to start my period. But the funny thing is that my breasts NEVER get sore.....EVER! So thats odd... I'd like to know, what are the early signs of pregnancy that some of you have experienced? Thanks!

I am 11 weeks pregnant & know that I am feeling kicks. Could I be farther along? This is my 3rd child so I can definitely tell the difference between gas & a kick. I tried to look it up at babycenter.com, but it says I am supposed to feel it in the 2nd trimester. Is this normal?
