squatting is probable one of the best things you can do while pregnant, as it helps stretch the muscles in the nether regions. That was one of my recommended daily exercises. as for waddling, that kinda just comes with the territory.

Yep, I agree with everyone......squatting is great for you:) Also try those big exercise balls, they work wonders. My Dr. told me a story about a girl who was in labor.......she was a catcher for a softball team, so she squatted all the time. The Dr. told me that she had such a smooth and easy labor because of it!! I'm not sure about the waddling, I can't picture what you're talking about:( Good Luck to you!!

Squatting during pregnancy & delivery for that matter is good... (Waddling I think is just a by-product of having so much weight on the front of you!) When you squat durring delivery it will open your pelvis up to 33% more...And squating durring pragnancy helps build your leg muscles to support yourself durring delivery & strech your pelvis.... Squating is really good because it helps your muscles and gets them ready for labor. Waddling I am not sure about.

Squatting is GOOD for you! It will help prepare you for labor and birth. It can help bring baby down into your pelvis in later pregnancy. It's a GREAT position to push in when you are in labor.
