Ok, I am 18 yrs old and single. I was hanging out with some guys from school about 2 weeks ago and one of them started flirting. We had unprotected sex and i missed a period. Does that mean I am pregnant? How should i tell my parents?

You might be. You should go ahead and either take a home test, or go to planned parenthood and get tested. No sense worrying your parents until you know what's up. If you are, then you should sit them down right away to discuss things. If you're not, be sure to get some condoms and use them! It's far easier to prevent a baby than raise one.

Well if you missed your period that is a good sign. The smart thing to do now would be to take a home pregnancy test. If it is positive you will just have to sit them down and tell them. If it is negative, take it as a lesson learned and use protection from now on.

It's very possible you could be. Have you done any pregnancy tests? As far as your parents, the only thing you can really do is come out and tell them, because if you are pregnant, they will find out anyway. Good Luck!

FIRST YOU MAY NOT KNOW UNLESS YOU TAKE A TEST. YOU CAN GET THEM att a dollar store for little of nothing. Second if you are the father of the baby needs to be told and maybe you can sit your parents down and tell them together. Yes they will get mad and probaly cry but it can't be hide. if you are not then get on the pill if you want to have sex.

If you have a good relationship with your parents then a would discuss it with them. If you don't then I would discuss it with someone I trust. I think it is also important that you take a pregnancy test.
Just because a guy flirts with you it doesn't mean you should have sex with him. You are worth more then that. You deserve a guy that will love you for who your are and not because you will have sex with him.

There is that chance you could be pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to take a test. As for your parents just be honest with them. Find out for sure first though.

dont tell ur parents anything until u know for sure...u'll freak them out..by the way...u shouldnt be having sex, especially unprotected with a random guy...do u want "some guy from school" to be ur babies dad? for being 18 u should be way smarter than that

First off, If you're 18 why would you have to tell them? If you're 18 you're an adult so you could legally go out and get a job and move out. Second, you can go to planned parenthood and they will give you any information you need about being pregnant.

You could be, but frist find out if you are or if your not,if you are then don't be ashamed to tell your parents remember they were kids once too, they may be pissed off at first but once the reality kicks in they will be excited about their grandbaby coming to the world. good luck girl & no matter what it's gonna be okay keep your head high!
