Every woman is different, and since this is your third child, you might be feeling the little flutters sooner because of the lack of abdominal muscle tone. (Let's face it, us third timers aren't built the way we were the first time around. I felt my baby fluttering around 12 weeks too!) If you are concerned that you are farther along than 11 weeks, discuss it with your doc. He will probably do an ultrasound to determine the due date. Good luck and congratulations!

You may very well be feeling kicks, & no that doesn't mean you are farther along... You know what you are feeling for... My Aunt has 5 children & she said that each pregnancy she could feel the babies earlier & earlier. Although ultrasound dating is not exact it is a good indicator of the approximate age of teh pregnancy! As the baby grows your doctor will continue to be able to check the growth & compare with the due date! Hope that helps!

I know that mothers who have been pregnant before can feel it sooner but I don't think as early as 11 weeks.. Especially a kick... fluttering maybe but not a kick. In my opinion I think you must be farther along. Good luck!

you can't feel kicks in the first trimester. it's something else. if you've had an ultrasound you should know how far along you are without a question.

They say that they're kicking then but usually you can't feel it until the 2nd. It's not that you're abnormal, but lucky!
