My period was due on January 12th (so I'm three days late). Last period started December 8th. Cycles last around 33 to 35 days, but I'm not completely regular. Did not have unprotected sex since November 29, but had close genital contact (no penetration) on December 18th. Nothing since then. I don't think I ovulated until New Year's Eve Weekend. I went to the doctor's office on January 11th and had a pregnancy test that was negative. I've taken lots and lots of tests (I'm paranoid) including one today and they've all been negative. However I've been experiencing slight cramps, slightly sore breasts, lightheadedness, dizziness. I'm just afraid my doctor is wrong and my symptoms are from being pregnant. I know they could also be PMS. I do get slight cramps and sore breasts before my period comes, but obviously it hasn't come yet. Am I just going crazy? Could I be pregnant despite what my doctor and the fifteen tests I've taken say? What else could my symptoms be from? Help

Most likely you're not pregnant. Stress can delay your period and you are having all the signs of PMS. I would give it one more week before you do anything more. Sounds like it is just around the corner. If you don't start within that week, I would take another test. Worry and stress can do strange things on ones body.

That's a lot of tests to be wrong. Very unlikely to begin with, and unless the guy ejaculated on your vagina during the "close genital contact", then pregnancy is impossible. Even if that did happen, getting pregnant would be improbable.

Your stress could be delaying your period as well. Take another blood test at the doctor to be sure. Good luck.

Hm, I think you're just having a bout of hypochondria. All those tests and a doctor couldn't be wrong, so don't worry. =]
