Pregnancy - December 2006

Everywhere I look it says that signs of pregnancy give breasts which ache and swell! My breasts have swelled more than usually but I have no aches which I generally do before my period! Does this mean I am pregnant? Plus it is really difficult for me to know when to take a test as my cycle is very long (usually 40 days) and I am at day 24 now.

I heard that the more morgning sickness you have, the healthier your baby is. I am 6 weeks and so scared every pain I have is going to be a miscarriage. I have lost one baby 4 years ago and dont want to ever go through that again. I have not really had any morgning sickness nor feel pregnant other than already showing and wearing mantiterny clothes. I have two other kids but so scared something will go wrong? I dont go back to the doctor till Jan 25, 2007 and I will be 11 weeks. I am scared I will go in and they wont find the heartbeat. So is it tue about the morgning sickness and healthy babies. And with my other two I was sick from day one till they were born. Thanks

For the past 2 days I've been feeling nauseas, tender breast, and very sleepy and tired, could this be possible? I already had kids and never had these symptoms so soon. My menstrual period is due on December 25(Christmas!!!)

my little sister is 13 and she wants to know how to have a baby
my mom and dad passed away so i had to tell her about her perid
and bra's and sutff like that but i never thought she was ready to know how to have a baby im only 23
i do have a girlfriend but im not sure if its her place to tell her
my little sister DOES have a boy friend who is 14 (all most 15)

should i tell her???

The last time I had sex was on Oct. 3 (I was on the pill and we used a condom). Ive taken a few home preg.tests (one in Oct, one in Nov, and one yeasterday)(all negative) because in Oct. and Nov. I had pregnancy symptoms (nausea, tiredness, tender breasts). Im still on the pill, but no period yet (4 days of taking the placebos)(I did have mine last month though in Nov), just a little spotting last week when I was taking the active pills. Could I be pregnant?

me and my partner have been trying for a baby,my first time i miscarried,soon after we have been trying againi just wanted to know when can you get a positive result after you may have concieved?i keep getting a light positive result,its very light second line ive been testing since last week and it was very light and today it was the same,so what do you think guys?ive been getting some symptoms such as bloating,sickly feeling but havent been sick,light headaches,backaches,boobs are little sore not very much, some pains in my lower stomach,last 2days ive been going to the loo frequently and diarhoe?

How do you know if you are bleeding because your period is coming on or if the bleeding is the sort some women lightly experience around the time their period would have come on when they are actually pregnant? I know the easy answer is take a pregnancy test - but before I can go out and get one I'd just like to know if anyone else experienced light bleeding when pregnant instead of their period. My period was due almost 1 week ago and the light bleeding has begun today. Advice welcome please - excluding people telling me to buy a home preg test - which I will do if necessary, just want more info in the spotting sometimes experienced at the beginning of pregnancy thanks!

I just can't shift the feelings of mild depression now Im in 2nd trimester (18 weeks). Im convinced my relationship is not as good as it was, although nothing has happened to suggest this, I feel lonely, vunerable, insercure, ugly and boring. Im convinced my partner is bored with me being like this. I know most of this is in my head and I have spoken to partner about this, he says he loves me and nothings changed, that he is here for me. But i just cannot shake these feels off. I have been to doc, who says its just pregnancy hormones and it will get better. Did anyone else feel like this in 2nd trimester and did it get better?

ok i havent had a period on over a year and a half but my doctor said it was normal cuz i was on the depo injection (and i'd suggest one go on it) but anyways i got my tarot cards read last night and i sugessted that i might not be able!

hey there!

i'm 19 from australia. i thought i was pregnant 2 months ago. about a month ago i though i had the answer... i started to bleed. it was heavy at first but then after 2 days it just stopped and mines usually last 5 days min. so i have been classing that as a period. i have had a few of the following symptoms: bloating, nausea, fatuige, frequent urination, constipation, sensitivity to smells etc. these are symptoms for pregnancy so i have been thinking about it all the time. now i am 12 days late for my next period so im sarting to get worried... is it normal to bleed when you think you may be pregnent?

I have been charting my bbt this month and i am now 10 dpo and my temperature has stayed at 98f and above.i have had very sore and heavy breasts for over a week now, so could i be preg? I am 25 weeks pregnant with twin boys (!) all is going well apart from being soooooo itchy all the time. I expected to be itchy as my skin stretched over my bump but i didn't expect to be itchy up my arms, legs, back, hands and feet. Its getting so bad that it wakes me up in the night. I have tried calamine lotion which gives temporary relief. I am worried tho - people have told me about a liver disorder that can cause itching? I have had a blood test taken but i'm looking for some advice while waiting for the results!

My sister, my brother's girlfriend, and my fiance's brother are all expecting in ealy 2007. Everyone is having a baby! When I think about having a baby i get so excited and i can't stop smiling! :) I'm worried because we have our wedding planned for late 2007, but we want a baby now. i had sex the 3rd of this month and ovulated on the 5th, so i thought there would be a good chance id be pregnant my period was three days late it was suppose to be on the 19th now its the 21st and im bleeding a little bit not even enough to go onto my sanitary towel yet! but ive got a little bit of period pain? should i take a test just to make sure?

i am in a rough spot here and i want some help. i was seeing a guy for about two weeks. i got pregnant the first night we were together. i am 26 he is 28. he has one 8yr. old son, not at home. i have two boys,5 and 3. he thinks its best to terminate the pregnancy, i don't, but i am not out to "trap" him. if he wants nothing to do with the baby, and can't give it what it needs i am willing to live with that rather than end the pregnancy. how much should i take into consideration of what he wants, mainly cause its bad timing and he cant be there right now in anyway shape or form?

i had sex the day after my period ended. No condom, he pulled out weve been doing it for a while. that was about two weeks ago. lately stuff i eat doesnt taste right i take 1 or 2 bites then toss it! also i've been have slight tummy pains just under my belly button. and i went i burp i feel like im trying to puke, thats been happening alot. my periods due in about a week or so still so i think i might be freakin out over nothing, wat you think am i experiencing early signs of pregnancy or somethin? oh and does have sex right after you period ends up your chances for getting pregnant?

I am 37 weeks & 3 days pregnant. For about 2-3 months now, I feel like my body has slowly been getting weaker and unhealthy. I know pregnancy normal takes a lot from you, this is my second, but I honestly feel like something is different and going wrong. I have a feeling that I have preeclampsia but I feel like my doctors are ignoring my symptoms and the fact that at 37 weeks my baby is only 4.8LBS!
I'll tell you tmy symptoms and please tell me what you think....
-Swelling in entire body but mostly legs and ankles
-Vision changes (Blurry, light flashes, dizziness)
-Off and on High Blood Pressure
-Extreme fatigue & weakness (no matter how much sleep I get)
-Hot flashes
-Feeling swollen and "stuffy" in my face (Almost like my face is swelling and trying to pop my eyes out of my head!)
-Fevers
-Random headaches
-Protein & blood in urine
-Underweight unborn baby (4.8LBS @ 37 wks)

Those are the few I can think of... I'll add more if I can think anymore! Thanks Girls!

My back aches from sitting in a chair all day i am due to finish up at the end of January but dont know if i can make it.

Does anyone else wish they would have gone barefoot to work - i am so over shoes right now :-)
