I am 25 weeks pregnant with twin boys (!) all is going well apart from being soooooo itchy all the time. I expected to be itchy as my skin stretched over my bump but i didn't expect to be itchy up my arms, legs, back, hands and feet. Its getting so bad that it wakes me up in the night. I have tried calamine lotion which gives temporary relief. I am worried tho - people have told me about a liver disorder that can cause itching? I have had a blood test taken but i'm looking for some advice while waiting for the results!
Thankyou! xx

Ooh! I remember the itchiness! What helped me a bit was Vitamin E supplements. While lotions helped on the outside, the supplements worked from the inside.
I also applied Vitamin E oil where the itching got so bad I scratched myself raw.

when my belly is itchy, i find that a cool shower helps, im someone that heat irritates my skin, so i stand in a cool shower,(until my husband reminds me of saving water! lol.) Everyones skin is different and reacts in certain ways, so try all the advice from woman (as long as not dangerous!) that reply to your question, and good luck finding something that helps!
