No, not if its your actual period. Some women experience slight spotting or a light period around the time when their period was due when pregnant but it is a very rare thing when a women has a period & is pregnant. Therefore only test for pregnancy after your period is ended if you are still experiencing OTHER pregnancy symptoms as well, swollen tender breasts, nausea, frequent urination etc. If you were in the few percent who are preg but have a period these symptoms should still be there AFTER the period finishes. Otherwise, a normal period is a big sign of NOT being pregnant, so the test will tell you the same. Sorry!

Is there a reason you still think you may be pregnant?
Do you have other symptoms?
Is you period normal?

If your period is much lighter than usual or brown, then that may be a reason to think you may still be pregnant.
Without a specific reason to think you are (other than having sex) then having your period is a good indictaion that you are NOT pregnant, so I wouldn't waste the money on a test.

well pregnancy tests detect pregnancy hormones and yes u can sometimes get a positive result while u bleed , reasons for this are either you are having a miscarriage, or u are having breakthrough bleeding or embedding bleeding ... all of these cud give u a positive pregnancy result ....

If you've started your period then you are not pregnant.
If you are having some bleeding even though you are pregnant, then the test will still be positive.

probably not, but you can try if you want, most likely though if you think you are pregnant and are bleeding now, could be a definite sign of miscarriage. good luck.

Depends if you are pregnant or not. Women can still have periods when they are pregnant.
