Am I being unreasonable or should I be worried...I had unprotected sex on the 20th day of my last cycle. I got what I thought was my period 2 days later (lighter than usual and more brown instead of red, laste only 4 days, mine usually last 6), which was 5 days early. I was relieved and had no more worries of being pregnant. Since then, though, I have been extrememly tired - almost unable to get anything done when I get home from work. I've been getting headaches - nothing serious, but I never get headaches. I've been eating more than usual, and thirsty constantly. I started to get especially worried and looking things up online because for the past few days, I have been going to the bathroom constantly...the urge comes and I cannot hold it.

My question is, is it possible that I am pregnant even though I had my period? Are these symptoms of pregnany or something else?

Please help, I don't know if I'm ridiculous to be worrying about this or if I should take a test...

I'm supposed to be about 8 1/2 weeks, went to the obstetrician for a check and the ultrasound machine could reveal a good sized sack but not the actual baby. I have to have a heap of tests and go back for review in a week but I wasn't really given much information.
Anyone had a similar experience and can offer advice or suggestions? I'm freaking out even though the ob told me not to.

hi everyone. i am so sorry for asking this again. I am supposed to start my period on the 24th. I normally am having sore boobs and am really cranky this week(right before my period.) I am really anxious to know if i am pregnant or not. the only symptom I have been having is feeling flutters in my tummy and not having the signs that my period is going to show. and also i have been having a lot of discharge lately(sorry if its too personal lol) How soon can I take a test and what are the odds that I am(were been TTC for 10 months now and its sooo sad to see that negitive sign when i take a test) thanks for any nice answers, please pray for us. we really want a baby.

I have always tried to be open, honest, compassionate and understanding with my answers to genuine questions.

However, I have just answered a question which upon reading other peoples responses, made me compelled to answer the way I did because I saw that the women on here felt genuine sympathy and concern for someone who has in previous posts had a termination of pregnancy, been through labour, had the baby pass away at 14 weeks and also is 4 months pregnant, however has just found out that they are pregnant all in the same breathe.

Normally I would leave these answers, however I have just had a close friend have her baby removed at 5 months due to her baby passing away in the womb.

I feel absolutely sickened that people (immature at that) could be so cruel and so down right insensitive.

My advice is if you are a genuine person like me, to please not respond to 14 and pregnant.

And to the writer of the question: SHAME ON YOU.

I have a 8 1/2 month old son. I had sex last month without any kind of protection and the last time i had a period was November 14th and i haven't had my period yet. Is it too soon to tell if i am pregnant. Last night i got sick after i ate supper and i did that with my son. Could i be pregnant again?

Im am getting so frustrated, i was given 2 due dates, first the 23rd, then the 28th, then they said they were going by the 23rd which would mean that saturday im due but on tuesday my doctor said its better to go by the 28th now just incase. So im 39wks now and on tuesday my doctor didnt even check me, 3wks ago i lost my mucus plug and doc said i was a little dilated but cervix hadnt done much yet at that time. Now i still lose some mucus if im walking or even rocking in my rocking chair(its clearish yellow) never any blood in it. I have a lot more pressure lately real low in my back and sharp pains shooting down. I want to have this baby before xmas because i have a 3yr old i need to be home with xmas morning and im worried I wont be. I have sex at least once a day(both of us having orgasm) nipple stimulation brings on hard contractions that eventually go away, spicy food didnt do anything, i walked like crazy, Can anyone help?? what else can i do, an do most women go b4 or after due

last thursday i went in for my eleven week ultrasound...they found a six week fetal pole(they think) ...no fetal heart beat... and a sac....they checked my blood...levels were fine...my uterus "is" tilted backward...i went in three days later my hcg levels had dropped some.I read they are supposed to at twelve weeks.My doctor doesn't want to see me until next week, what could possibly be going on? Could my baby have died six weeks ago? If so why isn't my doctor doing something? Could they just not see it? I'm so confused...i suffer from manic depression and have no medicine to help...i feel alone and empty...has anyone had a similiar experience? What happened? Should i go get a second opinion? I am at a loss here.

I am 30 weeks pregnant and have some serious leg cramps at night. I went and saw a doctor and I don't have any blood clots. I have read up on this symptom, but none of the "What to Expect" books suggestions worked for me. Any tested methods that worked for you would be a great.

Okay I hope im not getting to exictied for nothing but me and my husband have been trying for a baby for 5 months. I took a hpt tonight got a faint postive line. Only thing is I didnt get to check it for 5 min after I took it. Does a false postive show up on a EPT Early test if you dont check it in the 3 min it tells you to????? Is there such thing as a false postive???? Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!

what does a mucus plug look like? Does it always have to look like snot? I've been having a discharge that actually looks like ***, kinda clearish, is that just a discharge or could it be my plug--I'm 37 weeks

I'm 37 weeks now. I've been experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions for awhile now (several weeks), but lately I've been having some diarrhea, increase in vaginal discharge, and just NOW my lower back is really starting to hurt. My back never really hurt in pregnancy. Do you think I've might be coming very close to labor? How much more time will it take? Please share your experiences. Thank you.

I just had a baby six months ago, and I've been on birth control for about five months. The problem is is that I think I'm pregnant or am experiencing another miscarriage, because I missed taking my birth control pills eleven times already, and I have that same sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, just when I found out that I was pregnant, and again, when I had a miscarriage, and lost one of my twins. My doctor said that taking these birth control pills, called Ortho Tri-Cycle Lo,would make me have regular periods, but they've been only irregular, and I've missed taking it, because time just passes by. I've gone to the hospital, because I've felt sick, like I was pregnant, and it turned out that I wasn't, and I talked to my boyfriend about whether or not to get a pregnancy test from the store, but he doesn't believe that I am, even though he knows it's a possibility. I'm desperate to find out the truth, so can anyone out there help me with my question?

Okay it is NOT ME i can assure you that !!!! My sister in law is pregnant, 34 weeks now, she just found out halloween week!!! How can that be??? I am 39 weeks have been to her house with my husband several times throughout my pregnacy, I have seen her drink, (she drank everyday, all day) I know she still smokes weed!!! I know she still smokes ciggarettes and dont intend on quiting that!!! I went over there a few times as I said and I have witnessed her doing cocaine ( she did it every weekend and at least 2-3x in the weekday) I dont know if she has done meth but it boggles my mind because she bairly found out she was preg when she was like 6 1/2 months and has been doing all this since then....I think she quit cocaine but her daughter is as old as my son and I know she had her taken awya n got them back because the little girl had cocaine in her system....Her baby dad is a drug dealer, bothe of the dads!!!! How will this affect the baby??? Should I step in and say something to s>S????

So I'm curious if anyone had these symptoms and turned out to be pregnant. I'm also wondering how long I should wait to take the test.
A couple of days ago I had mild cramping and pinkish brown discharge when I wiped. I thought for sure I was getting my period early. Now about every couple of times I use the restroom I have very light pinkish brown discharge. My breasts are heavy, swollen and tender. My lower back has been aching, I'm extremely exhusted. I'm not expecting my period for another 6 days or so but the spotting never escalated into more painful cramps and my period like normal. The spotting has basicly disapeared... So what do you think? Pregnant? When should I test?

I'm pregnant and I'm always sleepy and tired. I have to stay up most of the time because I'm a bookkeeper and work mostly during the day. But I find myself falling asleep in front of my computer 80% of the time... i usually take Red Bull which work wonders but I cannot drink any more caffeine now that I'm pregnant. What can i take to give me more energy without harming my baby?

Hi, girls! I am 39 weeks pregnancy. A week ago I had a brown, mucus discharge (which I assume was my mucus plug or at least part of it.) Then, my kiddo dropped (I know this because all of a sudden I felt pressure in my vagina, my stomach changed shape and I started having a sensation like I had to go to the bathroom. I had three days of bliss... great energy, walked 3 miles a day, etc.

But today I was hit with debilitating fatigue... so bad that I can barely walk up a flight of stairs. I am also extremely nauseous. I hesitate to think that I'm going into labor (and don't want to get my hopes up b/c my mom and sister both went to week 41 and had to be induced.)

Did anyone else feel this way - and if so - how long afterwards did you go into labor?

I've had sore/tender breast for the last few days, i've also been going to the bathroom more...I've been having light cramps for the last week or two and now they are getting more mild! Yesterday it felt like i was getting my period but no blood came? My last period was on Nov 26th could it be possible i'm pregnant?
Other symptoms i've started to notive
* constant but light backaches
* feeling a little dizzy and sick but it comes in goes in seconds
* bloated
* tired more often
* my body has been week but just my arms and legs

my period came on today..it was like really light pink so i put on a tampon and when i took it off there was almost nothing on it...the bleeding has stopped.should i be concerned?what could be causing this?

I have very sore nipples(worse than usual) and ive been having dizzy spells. Im a week late with my period but i had a very, very light pink discharge on the day i was due on which lasted about half an hour and have had period like pains on and off since. I had the very very light pink discharge again today for about an hour. I dont know whether to take a test as i dont feel sick and although i am urinating alot i do that anyway. Ive been sleeping alot during the day aswell. ( struggling to get to work lol) help ive never been pregnant before so I cant recognise the symptoms. it would be a good thing if i was tho.
