my period came on today..it was like really light pink so i put on a tampon and when i took it off there was almost nothing on it...the bleeding has stopped.should i be concerned?what could be causing this?

i suggest you wait a week and take a pregnancy test, this could be "implantation"bleeding

Well it's really hard to tell. If you're experiencing pregnancy symptoms like sore nimples, you could be pregnant. Wait a week or so maybe? If your period is really late (1-2 weeks) I'd definately take a pregnancy test. You can get some at a local drug store.

Have you had sex in the past 24 hours? That sometimes stops your period for a little while. Make sure not to use tampons when your not bleeding...you can get SHOCK SYNDROME.

More info would be nice, like have you had unprotected sex? Are you on the pill? If you had sex then yes you could be, if you just started the pill then it could just be break through bleeding. Take a test if you dont get your period in another week.

Yes, sounds like it could be implantation bleeding.

call your doctor and get an appointment and find out. It could be something serious so call and take care of yourself. merry christmas.

it could be..or you could have been pregnant and you had a miscarriage.
