Well Im already dialated to 1 1/2 and Ive been in the hospital 3 times for premature contractions, so how do I know when its real. Im having sharp pains from my stomach down to my...well you know. and its pretty bad.Could I really be in labor?

I am 29 weeks pregnant and just found out today that I have gestational diabetes.I am so scared and upset now.Have any other mothers had this during their pregnancy?What did you have to do?Was the baby ok after birth?Please any info-I am so upset.

I HAD A MEETING WITH MY 2 SUPERVISORS AND THEY BOTH KNOW THAT I AM PREGNATE. AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO TELL MY PEOPLE WERE COMPLAINING THAT MY SHIRT WAS TO TIGHT AND MY BELLY WAS SHOWING..OMG THAT IS SO NOT TRUE EVEN MY COWORKERS SAID THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I GO TO WORK DRESS LIKE ANY OTHER EMPLOYEE. SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT U THINK.. AND I CANT HELP IT THAT I HAVE A BELLY IM 4 MONTHS. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

had sex with this girl almost 3 weeks ago (19 nov). she called me that saturday (25 nov) to tell me that she thinks she missed her period. i wore a condom, i did not c*m, and it did not break. last thursday we went to take and EPT and it said "not pregnant". she claims to not have had sex with anyone else (but I am not so sure). i instinctively feel as though i couldnt have gotten her preg. whats interesting is that she claims to have serious financial problems and is begging for help with mortgage. even said "give me money so I can go to doctor and figure it out myself" (but who knows how she would really use the money) deep down i dont trust her...so , we are going to meet tonite..if she takes another EPT tonite do you think it would be accurate at this point? (she tried taking one on Tues nite but EPT did not work) she said her period is never normal and shes not even sure what here cycle is but thinks she has already missed it for sure...if we take test tonite will it work? thnx

I've heard that some people can go to their 12week scan and find that their baby stopped growing at 8 weeks, and they didn't know anything about it. I don't know what this is called or how rare it is, but are there no signs whatsoever?

I had a scan yesterday and they couldn't find anything at all on the scan, only a thickened uterus which shows pregnancy signs. They did another pregnancy test, and it was a very feint line....my first test which I'd done 5 days earlier was also feint, but surely it would be darker by now because of all the hormones??

The reasons they gave was that their machine doesn't pick anything under 5weeks up, so she thinks I'm very early, only about 3 weeks, which is why the test had a feint line too.

Do you believe this is likely to be true? As I'm now convinced that the baby isn't growing properly, which is why the hormones aren't developing as they should. By my own dates I'm 4+3.

I wanted to know what is the best way to stay under 20 pounds of weight gain during my pregnancy. Im only about 9 weeks pregnant so I have a while to go until the due date. With my first pregnancy I put on about 45 pounds, so I need to do way better this time. I just wanted to know some realistic ways to do so.

I really wanna speed things up..esp. so that i no for sure that this is real ad not false labor again...i was 60% effaced and 1cm yesterday and they said the baby is really low which will help my cervix they said...soo what kinds of things did you try at this point in your pregnancy....like i said it may be false labour...but it could be really starting soooo that said what should i try..

p.s. sex is out b/c my boyfriend is scared to hurt the baby haha....i would say my contractions are about 15 to 20 min apart right now and causing some discomfort but not yet unbearable...

Doesn't there need to be quite a bit of sperm to land in the vagina opening in order for the sperm to acctually get up inside a girl to the fallopian tubes?? Hasn't it been said that most sperm get killed off on their long voyage?

Are there really many cases where a woman can get pregnant from "outer course" with only precum?

I had tons of blood loss at doc appt 4 days ago, she said it was my bloody show, I have everyday since then have had bloody mucus almost everytime I wipe im 4 cm dialated and 100% effaced no real strong contractions though, how much longer?

I am 25 weeks pregnant with first child. I walk about 5 days a week on treadmill for 30 mins. On days I don't do treadmill, I walk outside at my lunch break and then take the dog out later. Anyway I dont know why but whenever I have a pap smear done, I always get uncomfortable and sore in the cervix/vaginal area. It hurts and my Dr. always uses the smaller wand to go inside. She says that I close up my legs or don't open up enough for the big one to go in. I also mention to her that I may have intercourse with my husband every 10-12 days or so and the first time my hub tries to enter me, I get tensed up down there and it hurts for the first 2 minutes. It's like I am afraid of the first contact, but once it's in I am fine. Well if that's how bad I am with a pap smear and intercourse, then will it be very bad for my labor and delivery? My hub tells me even he thinks about this. Anyone know what to tell me? Is it true that in pregnancy my cervix and uterus open up or swell up

I went to bed- nothing unusual about that. I just could not get comfortable. I then started to have really sharp pains across my stomach in line with my bellybutton. Sitting up helped slightly, but it took them nearly half an hour to go away. I had the same pains 'down below' at my cervix. Also had 3-5 second long period type cramps at the bottom of my back for a short time too. The pressure was immense. Does anyone know what it was?

My last Period was Sept 1st , I had unprotected sex with my Current BF several times during the month and on the 16 Sept I had unprotected sex with my ex-bf, who may have a low sperm count.
according to one website I may have conceived on the 16th , so is my ex the father of my child ?
After 1yr of unprotected sex with my current BF , we have never conceived , after one night with my ex I'm now Pregnant and confused.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and will be 8 at Christmas. We are spending it with my in-laws. I am so excited and really want to tell them but on other hand we do still think it's a bit early. But we will also have some trouble explaining why I won't take a single glass of wine over xmas and New Year. They might get suspicious and ask us. Any Suggestions??

I've heard MANY MANY suggestions from people about how to help bring about labor. I am due tmrw (Dec.8th), and she is ready to go, if she doesn't come by next week they want to induce. SO far the things I have heard are Nipple stimulation, sex, spicy foods, walking, and some type of syrup (I've tried all of them except that syrup one which I am afraid is not safe) My dr has already scraped the membrains TWICE! And still nothing... she be-bops around in there as if she were doing martial arts!! Any ideas? or anyone with an experience that might pertain? Thanks! :)

I got pregnant and miscarried a few months ago. I am wanting to try to have another one. However my boyfriend says he wants to wait until we get a bigger place. We have the money to get a bigger place now but he says no cause he wants to save up more money first. I understand where he is coming from and I've been on birth control since right after I miscarried. I'm not going to stop taking the BC without him knowing cause that is wrong but he won't really even discuss it with me. It's like what he says goes and that's it. This is the only thing that he will not discuss with me. I just want him to see my point of view and see if we could compromise ... any suggestions?

P.S. We are planning to get married but I hate the word fiance

twenty years old and pregnant. Live with my boyfriend. I don't depend on my mom or his mom we just depend on each other. During my dr appts i feel like my mid wife treats me like i am a dumb *** or like i am to young to be having a baby. all in all i was just wondering is twenty the wrong age to have a baby at. fifteen weeks pregnant.

I am 14 weeks pregnant with my second child and my bump is quite noticable. I had to really squeeze into my jeans and my tummy shows at the bottom of my tops, yet my maternity jeans are a tiny bit too big. Would it be ok for me to wear maternity clothes yet? Would people think it was funny or weird? When did you start wearing maternity clothes?
