I am 17 weeks pregnant and have read in books that I should be sleeping on my left side. But I find that so uncomfortable. I can sleep on my right side but prefer to sleep on my back. Could I be restricting oxygen to my baby this way?

Im currently on the pill and take 3 packs of microgynon 30 in a row due to painful periods. I had sex around midway of the 2nd pack without a condom. During that time i had had the flu but was taking no medication. About 2 weeks after i developed thrush. I finish taking my 3rd pack tomorrow and my period is due on Friday. About 4 days ago i started having brown discharge (sorry too much information) and have for the past 2 weeks been having twinges and an inflamed pain in my tummy. I went to the doctors about the pain but didnt say i had unprotected sex. She felt my tummy and said there was nothing wrong and she gave me medication for the thrush. Could i be pregnant or am just worrying over nothin?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and when I got up today I was in a lot of pain in my ovaries, buttocks and thighs. The pain is not too bad when I lie down but when i first stand up i am in lots of pain. I have not had a scan yet so I am worried. Phoned midwife she says to take painkillers and to watch the pain. Is this normal I have had babies before and never had this pain. Could it be a cyst or would a cyst be painful even when I lie down??? Thanks.

I am 22 weeks pregnant and I am getting really sore nipples. They started leaking today and after leaking they felt heaps better, It happened again tonight and I got some out. I am just wondering if it is better to get it out when it hurts or whether to try and leave it?

i never had any physical relationship with anyone so why does it happen.we had not taken any protection so can i b pregnant & after having sex i had taken pills will it b harmful 2 me. we had sex only on saturday & sunday as my husband is out town on other days so m suppose 2 take pills everyday or only on saturday & sunday. pls help me out.

One of my closest and best friends whom i love like a sister is wondering if there was such things as a way to naturally cause a miscarriage. Mainly b/c her bf and his family is devout catholic. If his folks even found out, they'd both be in ubber trouble. Neither one of them would be able to deal w/having a baby. My friend would rather do the unthinkible than even tell her bf. Would there be a way to find out if she is w/out a pregnancy test? From what i understand is she's not expecting her period until the end of the month around the 28th, so until then...? What can I do for her?

I am now 27 weeks pregnant. This weekend when going to the bathroom I saw some brown spotting. I was scared cuz like an hr b4 I had cramps. Today I have the monthly appt. at my OB. But could this mean something? A premature labour or something like that?

Ok i am Due november 14th and at this very moment i have the feeling of cramps. they are tolerable..when i walk around they get worse but when i sit down they are painful but tolerable...the top of my belly is tightening, and it feels like shes movin a little, not much..also i am also feeling like sharp Stings of some sort in my abdomin every like..10 -15 mins, i cant tell if im having real contractions becasue my cramps arent starting and stopping they are just like staying the same..not going away nor getting really worse unless i get up and walk around..i also Feel ALOT of pressure like every 5-10 mins like she's pushing on my bladder but its not that painful..my water hasnt broke and i havent lost my MP. Everyone says dont go to the hospital cuz they will more then likely send me home if my water hasnt broken or Not lost my MP. i went to the Doctors Tuesday and i was Dilated 1 cm and she said my cervix was thin? what do i do?

OK i am Due November 14th and ever since yesturday i have been having crampy like contractions, i started cleaning and doing laundry about an hour ago and they went to my back and got a little stronger But not too much. i sat down for a while and they went away in my back BUT ive been having these contractions since yesturday like non-stop BUt they are tolerable, i havent lost my MP or my water..could i be iN labor? i went to the DOc last tuesday and i was only 1 cm dilated.ive been having a water like discharge about every..3-5 hours. just like a drop or two of like water it seems like..is that my water breaking slowly? I sure have a lot of questions don't I? lol I was wondering in what order do things happen in labor? Like loosing your mucus plug, contractions, and you water breaking. I was just wondering what order things happen in because I never completly understood. I am a bit scared about labor even though I won't go into labor until around April so I figured the more informed I am the more comfortable I will feel about it. Thanks!

Met girl at club,had sex with her 3 times in 1 night, now we didn't use protection. Get phone call yesterday she had a baby who is 4 mths old & she said it is mine. She told me she thought she could do this alone, but says its hard & needs my help. She said it took her 3 mths 2 find me. I really liked this girl we stayed up all night talking about everything, I wanted 2 start a relationship with her but she got scared. Now she tells me that all she wants is for me 2 be in our daughters life. She offered me a dna test if i wanted. She said she kept this from me coz we are young I am 23 & she is 24. I told her I'd support her and the baby even if she's not mine. I now have a g/f & don't know if I should tell her. The girl told me that it has 2 be mine coz she hasn't slept with anyone for 18 months & she was on the pill so she doen's no why she fell pregnant. I am so confused and need advice.

Okay another question from me... it's kind of gross so I only want answers from experienced pregnant women. I am 17 weeks pregnant and in the middle of me and my hubby having intercourse, a white bugery string came out. I know that your supposed to have a dicharge but how much is too much. The reason why I am asking is because I am not sure what a mucus plug looks like. So should this discharge be so thick and how much is too much for how far along I am?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I went to the store today. The cashier said I went pale and then when I went to leave she had someone carry-out my groceries and walk me to my car. Everything went black and I got real dizzy. He caught me when I got off balance. It went away after they had me sit down for a while. This has happened pretty often. Ok, me and my girlfriend were messing around... and i accidentally slipped into her, just a few cm, maybe 1 or 2cm, but I was fairly dry and didn't stay there for long... but I am just so worried that she might be:( This happened about an hour ago... and she told me (after it had happened) that her period was late, so is it more likely she is safe because of this? When her period does come will that mean she is not? I'm so worried please help!
