Pregnancy - October 2006

I'm getting semi-sharp pains..Could it be from the baby moving into position, or just stretching? I know this is a stupid question and I should probably ask my doctor, but unfortunately, he's on vacation for another week. Lovely, huh? I'm not going to stress myself out over it, though, when it could be gas or something..but I was just wondering..all of you at 37 weeks..did you get aches and pains?

I'm so worried because I had a miscarriage 6 months ago. I don't have any bleeding or cramping, but my lower back started hurting really bad today. Is this normal? Please tell me if you've had the same - please DONT tell me "go to the doctor." I know that, thanks. It's not as severe as when I had a miscarriage but it does hurt pretty bad! I am only 4 weeks pregnant.

I just wanted to know how much difference having an epidural makes vs. a natural birth. Does it make labor and birth a lot easier? Do you still feel the contractions during labor and the burning when pushing the baby out? Does it make it harder to push?

I did ask for an epidural, but no one was in a hurry to get me one and by the time they got around to it, it was too late as I was already 7cm. dialated.

Having a natural birth was incredible and I am glad that I got to have the experience, but quite frankly I am really scared of going through it again!

Either way all of the pain was MORE than worth my precious baby!

i just had my second child, and my first was born only a year before my newest. my boobs went from a 36c before i was pregnant the first time to 38dd after the birth of my second child. i want my boobs to go back to a c cup without surgey. any suggestions?

I am hoping some experienced mothers can help me out on this question. I thought all crib bumper pads were 4 sided until I saw a 3 sided one tonight while searching the internet. Does anybody know the difference between the two?? Is a 3 sided bumper pad safe??

I have a Dr. appointment this week, I'll be 18 weeks. I have an ultrasound scheduled for when I'm twenty weeks. I asked the Dr. if I could go ahead and get my ultrasound this week. But the chances of me finding out the sex aren't as good. How far along when you found out?

I took a HPT two days after I missed my period, but now I am a week and a couple days past. No sign of a period and I had sex with my husband last night which would normally start my period if it was close. None all day! So how soon should I try and take another test?? I lost my daughter on 3months ago, I was 8 months - I felt weird - sorta like real bad labor pains - I was rushed to the hospital and they could not find her heartbeat. It was later confirm that I had a placenta abrution. I kept her with me for two days and sent her on to the funeral home - to be prepared for her burial. I miss her so much - I have really bad panic attacks - Not to mention I got in a head on collision the day of her funeral - almost missed it.
HELP - How do I deal with the pain?
Also, me and her dad recently broke uo after 2 yrs - so I have to deal with that as well.

I should know what is normal by now but I always let the worry get to me. im about 7 weeks now. should I be cramping so much? i dont remeber cramping as much with my last 2 babies. I have even tried drinking water and it doesnt seem to be subsiding. the cramps arent unbearable but they are starting to get old.

Has anyone tested negative on a HPT at 8 weeks and were infact pregnant? Did it only show up when you went for a blood test?

They say to take a test in the morning but can't you take one at night if you wait so many hours and hold it? thank you.

Ok I just asked a question about having a six pack while pregnant and everyone said you shouldn't work out you abs when you are pregnant. It made me wonder....what can you work out? Legs? arms and shoulders? I know you can walk but can you run? I heard it was good to work out while pregnant but everyone said abs was bad for the baby. Is anything else bad? BTW I am NOT pregnant and I am not trying to hurt a baby....I am just wondering....

What would happen if you had a six -pack (as in ab muscles) and you got pregnant and continued to work out the abs while you were pregnant. Would the six pack show on the pregnant belly? I've always wondered this....
