I'm so worried because I had a miscarriage 6 months ago. I don't have any bleeding or cramping, but my lower back started hurting really bad today. Is this normal? Please tell me if you've had the same - please DONT tell me "go to the doctor." I know that, thanks. It's not as severe as when I had a miscarriage but it does hurt pretty bad! I am only 4 weeks pregnant.

When i was about 6-8 weeks, i had back pain. it wasnt really severe, but enough to make me miserable. the dr told me it was just due my body adjusting to the pregnancy. the only other thing that caused that sort of pain of me was a severe kidney infection. during pregnancy, you're much more likely to get kidney infections/stones, or Urinary tract infections and so on. If the pain persists, i'd go to the dr for a urine test just to make sure it isnt anything like that. I've had two kidney stones so far, and i'm just now at 31 weeks.

I had the same ache. It increased throughout my pregnancy. Now my back hurts because I'm lugging around a 20 lb six month old everywhere!

My back hurt the whole time I was pregnant. Not just a dull ache either. Good Luck! Hope all is well.

I have been pregnant 3 times and this happened with each one for me. Actually with my 2nd and 3rd- that is what convinced me that I was pregnant without any tests. Just remember to rest and get your feet up.
