I'm getting semi-sharp pains..Could it be from the baby moving into position, or just stretching? I know this is a stupid question and I should probably ask my doctor, but unfortunately, he's on vacation for another week. Lovely, huh? I'm not going to stress myself out over it, though, when it could be gas or something..but I was just wondering..all of you at 37 weeks..did you get aches and pains?

I would consider pain of any kind something to consider and check up on,which you are. I had sharp pain from the movement of the hip/pelvic area and from the pressure on my lower back and bladder. There is so much change happening now so there will be discomfort. Bottom line is trust your gut...if there is an increase in sharpness, intensity, or duration and any sign of pink -red discharge get that Dr's service and forcfully demand that the Dr. filling in for yours (he/she has to have one) call you and if possible see you. If not and your discomfort increases go to the ER and demand to see the OBGYN on-call! As you said, do not panic but listen to what your body is telling you....Then call and be as detailed as possible...OK? Hope all goes well and it probably will but that Dr. is employed by you vacation or no.. He really should be able to be reached even on vacation. The doctor/patient relationship is blessed and he/she can put your mind at ese as no one else can. I'll send good thoughts your way and let me know how it goes...Please? Bubak_of_three

I am now 36 weeks pregnant and aches and pains are my first and middle name. So much is happening to your body as is the babies body. Your baby is growing and gaining weight now and your body doesn't like it. Make sure that you are getting plenty of rest. Just think about what happens if you carry a backpack for to long that is too heavy- your muscles start to ache. It is the same thing. Still mention it to the doctor, but he will probably say the samething that my doctor says- go and get some rest!

What you spot on common, is what is natural. Example: in the event you see a character hiccuping that mainly natural but when its nonstop for days or months, that is undoubtedly now not natural. Also if a character was once born with anything like six arms on every hand would possibly not look natural to us however it's natural to that character. So regularly it is an character factor that nobody else will realize.
