I'm 16 weeks with my 2nd child. My Ob/Gyn gave me a list of safe OTC meds to take during pregnancy. Since you are 13 weeks you are out of your 1st trimester so it is safe to take sudafed, actifed, benadryl, robitussin cough syrup (the one with no alcohol--check the label), and vicks vapor rub. You can also use Tylenol sinus, Ocean nasal spray, cepacol and sucrets.

The only medicine that is safe during pregnancy is regular Tylenol. I suffered with a horrible cold while I was pregnant and my Dr told me that Tylenol is the only medicine.
