Pregnancy - October 2006

I recieved a harassment restraining order about 1 month ago, from my ex who is now 2.5 months pregnant with my child. She doesn't want me in her life and even has said she doesn't want child support. We argued alot, over small stuff and I said some mean things as well as she did. We didn't make it as a couple, but I want to show the courts that i'm responsible, and want desperately to be in my child's life, can the harassment order effect visitation and or partial custody of the infant, I realize a baby needs its mom and I just want for now to see my baby regularly(weekends) and enjoy being a father, then eventually gain joint custody. Is this request a realisitic one in the eyes of the court?My ex is fiercly independent and stubborn, I wish me and her could talk but we can't. Another question what would be good steps to take to show the courts I'm a sincere person, and just want to be a great father. I know of things I'm just looking for outsiide advise.Thanks,

Ok I still haven't got my period and I went to the doctors - he wasn't that helpful. I explained my period was 15 days late and said I had taken two tests which came bck negative. He felt my tummy and then said it could be stress why I haven't got it yet. I asked if it was worth me taking a test there but he said they are just the same as the home pregnancy tests and to do another one on Thurs if it still hasn't come.

I haven't yet, I will but I can't keep spending money on these things! How long should I leave it until I go back to the doctors again? I might go to the my local FP clinic as felt that my doctor could have been more helpful.

This is going to sound kinda selfish but i'll ask anyway. I'm 22 and am 37 weeks pregnant. I have graduated from college, have a stable career, and am married. Anyway my step-mom is pregnant with triplets (invetro pregnancy) she is 28 weeks pregnant. When I told my father that i was pregnant he told me he was not happy to be a grandfather (not very good to hear when your 3 months pregnant). It upset me to hear that she got herself pregnant. I feel like she is trying to take attention away from my pregnancy. Has anyone ever had to go through this. Should I tell them how I feel about there pregnancy??

How can you tell the difference between very water mucus and your water leaking? It has felt like my water was leaking since yesterday, my underwear are getting a little wet both nothing major, I havn't had a gush or anything could this be my water or could it simply be my mucus plug or something? no consistent contractions, It has felt like im going to get my period and a lot of sharp pain on my pelvic bone but this has felt this way for quit some time now. (im not wasting time on computer, im waiting for doc to call me back and just thought i would see if anyone else had this.)Please help..

I went to the emergency room a few nights ago b/c my side was hurting really bad, they came back and told me that I was pregnant. They ordered an ultra sound to make sure the baby wasn't in my tubes. They came back and determined I was 5 weeks. I couldn't see a baby on the monitor. It just looked like a black square. In this baby book I'm reading it says you can hear a heart beat at 5 weeks! Is there something wrong with my baby?? HELP!

I would like some suggestions for my sister. She can't figure out to name her baby (she's having a boy.) Keep in mind, she and I both like unusual names. Her little girl's name is Addison Grace (Addi), and her little boy is Brayden Daniel. Any suggestions?

Has any ladies had problems with their period after stopping the patch. i stopped on Sept. 22nd. (my patch off day) i had my normal period on Sept 26-29. i have been having unprotected sex and i am late. i took a hpt and it was neg. i just want to know has anyone else experienced issues with their period after coming off the patch? I really wish I could have quit my underpaying-dead-end job today, but I can't because I am pregnant and no one would hire me. My boss is threatening me with my job and cursing me out because yes I have been a little late a few days. He should try being five months pregnant and have a small child at home to get off to school everyday. My boss has hated me ever since the day my other boss was asked to leave because he couldn't keep his sexual comments to himself and dirty hands off my a$$. I haven't had a raise in three years and I work for a multi million dollar corporation. I am 37 weeks pregnant. At 12 weeks I misscarried a twin. The other twin managed to survive and I was put on bedrest because of a weakened cervix because of the expelled twin fetus. I have been on and off bedrest for the entire pregnancy until 5 weeks ago. At my 35 week checkup they said I am 2 CM and 90% effaced. This is also my third child. It has been 19 days since I was told I am 2 cm. If the entire pregnancy I was told I am going to have a preemie because of all of the complications then how is it I can be so close and still no baby? I just want the reassurance when I hold him for the first time that all of the heartache and complications with this pregnancy were not for nothing. Any ideas on when I could go into labor? The pain is almost unbearable but it is not productive. Thanks for any answars you may have for me.

I have a few questions. I went to get an emergency ultrasound cuz the doctor couldn't get a heartbeat. They said that they baby wasn't alive. I was supposed to be 12 weeks. Baby died at 7. I had a missed miscarriage, they called it.

My questions...since the baby is still inside me, they said I could have a D&C done or let nature take it's course.

Does anyone have any experience with either or these procedures? If you had a D&C, what was done & how was your recovery? Are you still able to have kids now?

If you let the baby come out naturally, was it painful? Did you have to have a D&C anyways becuz not everything came out? How long did it take before the pain stopped? How long did you bleed?

I'm scared. Please, kind answers only. I had 2 previous pregnancies & both kids are fine & there were never any complications. I really don't understand any of this. Thank you in advance.
