The babies like to be comfortable. Sometimes they will tuck in they tiny legs. I wonder if they know Mommy REALLY wants to know. :)
Maybe the lil stinker wants to surprise you! lol
Let me tell you a funny story. 8 years ago, my brother was expecting after 5 ultrasounds, a healthy baby girl. (R.I.P. Tony)
I was fortunate enough to go into delivery with him and his wife. After a beautiful pink-pink-pink everything baby shower, as the baby was born, I'm on one side of his wife, him ion the other. We each have a leg in our arm. I hear the doctor quietly say something to the nurse. It sounded like "HIM". I looked at my brother and lip synced..."he said him" my brothers eye bows raised and he lip synced back. "Its no a boy". This crazy lip syn-king went on between us for a few seconds. Total disbelief and trying not to let Mommy in on what we thought. I finally burst out and said, "ITS A BOY?" The doctor smiled and held him up and said ,"Yes and a very healthy one. Mommy raised up, eyes wide open and said "A WHAT?!" LOL
Needless to say, I darted into the waiting area and told everyone to hit walmart and FAST. We had a boy!
I just love telling that story!
Best of luck to you and your lil secret!

oh come on people!! stop believing things that make no sense whatsoever. It could be either a boy or a girl. Nothing is wrong with your baby, he/she is just in a position where you can see the sex. You'll have to wait until you get another ultrasound and if the baby doesn't show then, you'll just have to wait until birth.

It could be a girl, since it was being 'shy.' You would think a boy would be all about showing off his package...lol. But my brother and sis in law had a modest baby with their ultrasound, had to go back a second time and it ended up being a boy! I just found out I am having a girl and she wasn't shy whatsoever. So who knows!

the umbilical cord could be between the legs or the baby may not be in the right positioning that the technition feels comfortable with saying one way or the other. I dont think it means that it is a girl though.

The odds of any guess are only 50/50. They'll be able to tell soon enough. And when they do, EVERYTHING will be clear. They have a new 4-D technology available that even allows you to see their facial features.

if you're baby is like mine, its sitting with its legs crossed and won't let you get a peek. guess you'll have to wait until its born to see if its a boy or girl. don't let anyone convince you its one or the other. you don't want to end up with the wrong color clothes for the baby. good luck!!

I think you should sit back, enjoy being pregnant and enjoy wondering. It's a great feeling once youve given birth being told what you've had. I think some hospitals have policies and don't actually tell you but maybe it's just camera shy!!...good luck.

You have a 50/50 chance that it's a girl.
You have a 50/50 chance that it's a boy.
You have a 100% chance that it's a baby.
Sorry......you'll find out when it's born!

Surprises are a grand thing and your baby wants to surprise you. Don't worry about it because you are going to love it regardless of it's sex or are you going to throw it back if its not what you wanted?
