So you are almost 38 weeks now?
That's GREAT! You'll have a full term baby instead of a premie.
Every day your little one stays put is a day to grow bigger and stronger.
How do you know that "the pain is not productive" anyway? Have you been checked again since 35 weeks and shown no more progress?
How far dilated and effaced you are really says NOTHING about when you will have your baby. It's just another way docs try to "manage" your pregnancy. Many midwives don't even do cervical checks until you are in labor.

I had a normal labor except for the fact I was 2-3 cm dilated for 2 months, and 50-80% effaced. I carried to full term (38 weeks).
Some times we don't know why these things happen, they just do. Don't be in a hurry to have him yet, the longer he stays inside the better. GOD BLESS, AND GOOD LUCK!!

First off, I'm very sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I'll keep you in my prayers!
As for your question, nobody (not even doctors, really) can predict when it will happen. It's just a matter of when the baby is ready. I know that probably wasn't the answer you were looking for..but I hope it helped a bit. Congrats on your new little one and I pray everything turns out well. God bless.

Well, it seems like you're about 37+5 weeks now. congratulations, you are past the premie stage. You could go into labor anytime, or it may go late. My bet is your doctor won't let you go too late because you're already at least 2cm and they'll probably induce sometime soon. Good luck.

I ended up replacing my marriage ceremony colours bc I could not find them within the bridesmaids clothes colours! Since you're making them might I propose you journey as much as LA for the weekend and retailer within the garment district for the colours you're watching for? Hope that is helping

With pregnancy, childbirth and children, there are no reassurances.
Congrats on your new baby.
