I'm only a few weeks into the pregnancy and my dr removed the IUD. There's still a 40% chance of miscaraige. I was just wondering how many other people have had this sort of thing happen. And of those people, how did the pregnancy turn out?

Well its very rare to become pregnant on the IUD now adays. The percentage of failure is 0.1% and sterilization is 0.5%. So that baby was really meant to be :). Did your DR check to make sure that it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy. Its was very common back in the 80's and 90's and their pregnancies were very successful. However back then DR didn't remove the IUD until later in pregnancy

BEST OF LUCK
