There is usually more blood loss with a c/s.
Up your iron intake. Try taking chelated iron and consider trying chloraphyll.

If the vaginal birth was without complications, then that is the easiest.
There are blood clotting drugs they can give you at the hospital to stopping the post-partum hemmorhaging. My first delivery was pretty bad. My uterus didn't want to shrink back up and I bled horribly for 2 months.
I was an exception to the case.
Most vaginal births have few complications. I would do whatever my doctor recommended. They have more knowledge about your body and it's limits.

A vaginal birth is always better. It's the natural way to do it, but that doesn't mean c-sections are bad. C-sections can have alot of complications. The recovery is longer and there's a risk of infection.

Ask your physician. Do not add supplements without your physician's approval. Your doctor is the only one who has specific information about your medical case, history, type/cause of anemia. Ask your doctor to make a professional judgement based on your individual circumstances. Do not trust/risk the lives of your child and yourself by following the advice of Yahoo users.
